PAF0007 Audio Door Phone System
AudioKit DUO
The AudioKit DUO is an audio intercom system for 2 apartments that can be installed using 2 wires up to a maximum distance of 100m. The kit includes an outdoor unit, two handsets, and a mains adapter.
Product Description
The AudioKit DUO includes the following components:
- Outdoor Unit: The unit is designed for surface mounting and includes a rain shield. It has dimensions of 98 x 214 x 40 mm and can be installed using screws.
- Handsets: Two handsets are included in the kit. Each handset has a volume adjustment button, a loudspeaker, a call button, and a microphone. The dimensions of each handset are 98 x 214 x 40 mm.
- Mains Adapter: The kit includes a mains adapter with specifications of 15V DC, 1.2A, and 18W power output.
- Installation Manual: The kit comes with an installation manual in multiple languages (French, English, Italian).
Product Usage Instructions
Installation
Follow the steps below to install the AudioKit DUO:
- Attach the bracket to the wall using screws (1.4 – 1.6 m from the ground).
- Connect the wires according to the wiring diagram provided in the manual.
- Attach the transformer to a power source.
- Hang the handset on the bracket.
- Fix the rainshield on the wall with screws (1.4 – 1.6m high from the floor).
- Remove the screws from the top of the outdoor unit and slide the back plate.
- Pass the wires through the hole in the back plate and connect them to the terminals of the unit.
- Replace the back plate and top cover and secure it with screws.
- Fix the door station on the rainshield by clipping from the top and fit the part supplied into the door station then tighten the two screws.
Usage
To use the AudioKit DUO:

To switch between ring mode and silent mode, press the button
on the handset. -
To make a call, press the call button on the handset.

To answer a call, pick up the handset.

To end a call, replace the handset on the bracket.

These instructions are provided for your safety. Read this manual carefully
before installing and keep it in a safe place for future reference. Select a
suitable location. Make sure you can easily insert screws and wallplugs into
the wall. Do not connect your electrical appliance until your equipment is
totally installed and controlled. The installation, electric connections and
settings must be made using best practices by a specialized and qualified
person. The power supply must be installed in a dry place. Check the product
is only used for its intended purpose.

Handset installation
- Fix the bracket to the wall with screws 1.4 – 1.6 m from the ground.
- Connect the wires according to the wiring diagram. Connect the transformer to a power source. Hang the handset on the bracket.
Installation of the outdoor unit

Fix the rainshield on the wall with screws (1.4 – 1.6m high from the floor, screw size: 4 * 40BA)

Remove the screws from the top, open the top cover and slide the back plate.
Pass the wires through the hole in the back plate, then connect the wires to the terminals of the unit. Then replace the back plate. Replace the top cover and secure it with screws.

Fix the door station on the rainshield by clipping from the top and fit the part supplied into the door station then tighten the two screws.
USE
Steady red LED : Ring mode activated
Steady blue LED : Quiet mode activated
Blinking red and blue : handset off hook or call in progress
Steady red LED : Ring mode activated

Blinking red and blue : handset off hook or call in progress
To change the melody:
The handset must be hung up.
Hold the lock release button until the long BEEP.
Release the button during the long BEEP.
Scroll through the different melodies by pressing the opening button.
When you have chosen your melody, pick up and hang up your handset, it will be
selected.

WARRANTY
Warranty 2 years
The invoice will be required as proof of purchase date. Please keep it during
the warranty period.
Carefully keep the barcode and the proof of purchase, that will be necessary
to claim warranty.
Warning
- Maintain a minimum distance of 10 cm around the device for sufficient ventilation.
- Be sure that the device is not blocked by paper, tablecloth, curtain or other items that would impede airflow.
- Keep matches, candles and flames away from the device.
- Product functionality can be influenced by a strong electromagnetic interference.
- This equipment is intended for private consumer use only.
- The appliance should not be exposed to dripping or splashing water; no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, should be placed near the appliance.
- Do not use in a tropical climate.
- The mains plug is used as disconnect device and shall remain readily operable during intended use.
- The handset and the adapter must only be used indoors.
- Connect all the parts before switching on the power.
- Only connect your appliance using the provided adapter.
- Do not cause any impact on the elements as their electronics are fragile.
- Do not block the microphone.
- When installing the product, keep the packaging out of reach of children and animals. It is a source of potential danger.
- This appliance is not a toy. It is not designed to be used by children.
Disconnect the appliance from the main power supply before service. Do not clean the product with solvent, abrasive or corrosive substances. Only use a soft cloth. Do not spray anything on the appliance.
