INSTALLATION

1. Plug in your smart power strip and press the button (the blue light will come on).
2. Plug in the cord for your light or another object you want to connect. (3 smart plugs+ 4 Continuously powered plugs)
3. Download the iSCS Sentinelfree app on your smartphone.

CONFIGURATION

Installing the app

iSCS Sentinel
To download the app, go on to the App Store or Play Store on your smartphone. Search for “iSCS Sentinel”, then click on install.

1. Once the download is complete, open the app and click on create my account.
2. Enter your email address and password in the relevant boxes.
3. Click next.
4. Enter the validation code you received by email. Then confirm the account.
5. Click on ALLOW
6. Enter all the information requested to create your home. Then click on finish.

Setting up your power strip

****Plug in your smart power strip close to your Wi-Fi router for set-up. Your phone must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your smart power strip and the location must be activated.

Some materials may reduce the Wi-Fi range.

1. Click on the and then «New device» to add the power strip
2. Enter your Wi-Fpassword and scan the UR Code on the power strip or enter the code manually.
3. When the blue light starts to flash, click on Next. If the blue light does not flash, press and hold the Reset button for 5 seconds.
4. Enter a name for the smart power strip.
5. Add a profile picture from your camera, or the gallery, or select a picture by default (product Visual or last motion capture).

If the device fails to connect to Wi-Fi, an error page is displayed.

Troubleshooting
If “repeat operation” does not work, click on “other method”

1. Click on it to go to the notification settings.

Using the app
For information, in case of failure of your Wi-Fi network, it will be possible to control your plug via Bluetooth

1. In ON mode
   The POWER button is orange and the image of the device is normal

2. In OFF mode
   The POWER button is black and the image of the device is dark You can press the ON/OFF button on the power strip to activate and deactivate it

3. Click on to change the power strip’s settings

4. By default, the power strip will appear in your Favorites list whenever the app is opened
   Click on to add/delete a power strip from the Favorites list

5. If you activate «Offline notification», a notification will only be sent if the device is offline for more than 30 minutes.

Scenarios

Example:
I activate my power strip on weekdays at Ba.m. for 15 minutes.

1. Then select the device + the desired state of the socket: «ON»
2. Indicate the desired time between the two actions: Oh 15m Os
3. Then select the device + the desired state of the socket after the time limit: «110FF»
4. By default, the scenario will appear in the favorites list.
5. Activate the “actions” of the scenario without waiting for the triggering events.

To add guests

Via the iSCS Sentinel app, your guest can activate/deactivate the devices but cannot configure them.

Connection with voice assistants Google Assitant & Alexa
Before you start, make sure your device is connected to the iSCS Sentinel application, that your voice assistant is connected to the Internet and that it is working properly (ask it a question to check).

• Open the Google Home application
• Click on the icon << + », then: Configure a device /Works with Google and choose iSCS Sentinel
• Enter the login details used to connect to the application iSCS Sentinel
• The voice assistant will search for available devices and display them in the device list in the Google Home application.
• If not, tell your voice assistant «OK Google, synchronize devices».

Reset
To reset the power strip, press and hold the button for 5 seconds. This will unpair the smart power strip from your Wi-Fi network.

• Open the Alexa application
• Choose Skills and then choose iSCS Sentinel
• Enter the login details used to connect to the application iSCS Sentinel
• The voice assistant will search for available devices and display them in the device list in the Alexa application.

To completely remove the device, you will need to delete it in the app .

Overvoltage
Thank to over current/overload protector, the power will be cut off automatically after overload use. Please reset the overload protector, then the power will be on again.

Problem encountered
If adding the plug fails

Solutions

• Check the power supply is properly connected and that the LED lights up or flashes
• Check that you are connected to wi-fi
• When entering the wi-fi password and do not include spaces
• Check that you have entered the wi-fi password correctly
• Check that your router is connected to the internet
• Check that your phone’s location is enabled
• Make sure you have sufficient bandwidth
• Check that your smartphone is connected to the same network entered in the app
• Check that the wi-fi network you are attempting to connect to is on 2.4 GHz and not 5 GHz.
• Pairing must be completed within 3 m of the wi-fi router

WARRANTY

Warranty 2 years
Keep the barcode in a safe place, along with proof of purchase these will be requested if you need to use the warranty. It is essential to keep proof of purchase throughout the warranty period.

Not covered by the warranty:

• Material and electrical damage resulting from incorrect installation.
• Damage resulting from improper use (other than for its intended purpose) or modifications.
• Damage resulting from the use and/or installation of parts not included or recommended by SCS Sentinel.
• Damage DUE to a lack of maintenance or impact.
• Damage RESULTING from poor weather, such as hail, lightning or strong winds.
• Returns without a copy of the invoice or proof of purchase.

WARNINGS

The product must be used only indoors. This equipment is intended for private consumer use only. Do not connect any device that may exceed the maximum ratings of this extension cord. Do not disassemble or repair the product. Do not use the device if repair or adjustment is required. If need, it will require qualified staff. Keep matches, candles, and flames away from the device. The appliance should not be exposed to dripping or splashing water. No objects filled with liquids, such as vases, should be placed near the appliance. The power supply plug must remain easily accessible. It is used as a disconnection device. Do not let children play with the product or with the packaging. Before cleaning, disconnect the product. Do not clean the appliance with abrasive or corrosive substances. Only use a soft cloth. Do not spray anything on the product.

Unused equipment must not be disposed of with normal household waste. The hazardous substances it may contain could be harmful to health and the environment. Use the special collection services provided by your local authorities or distributor.
