Product Information
The Nimly Connect Gateway is a device that communicates wirelessly with the Nimly Connect Module installed in your compatible smart lock using Zigbee communication. The Connect Gateway is designed to be connected to your home network and will allow you to remotely control and monitor your smart lock using the Nimly Connect application on your smartphone. The Connect Gateway is compatible with 230V Zigbee products and can be used to improve the range between your gateway and lock by adding another compatible Zigbee product.
Product Usage Instructions
- Install the Connect Gateway to your home network using the supplied network cable and power supply. Place the gateway as close to the lock as possible.
- Download the Nimly Connect application from Google Play or Apple App store to your smartphone.
- Create your user account and log into the application. You will be prompted to create a home in the application, which will guide you further in the process. When your home is created, the gateway will be connected to your user account.
- Add your compatible smart lock to your home. Navigate to the device tab and select your smart door lock from the device list. Follow the pairing process as instructed in the application.
- If the distance between your gateway and lock is too far, connect it to your wireless network found in the app settings.
- If the distance between your gateway and lock is still too far, improve the range by adding another compatible Zigbee product between the gateway and lock. For example, a smart contract or another useful product. It must be a 230V product to contribute to Zigbee-signal strength.
- Note that master- and user codes registered manually on the lock (slot 001-049) are automatically deleted when pairing your lock with the gateway. We recommend that you perform a reset procedure of your lock if the device has been in use.
Installation And Connection

Install the gateway to your home network by using the supplied network cable and power supply
The gateway communicates wirelessly with the Connect Module installed in the lock, using Zigbee communication. Place the gateway as close to the lock as possible. -
Download the Nimly Connect application to your smartphone
The application is available on both Google Play and Apple App-store. Read more about the application and download the app to your device. -
Create your user account and log into the application
You will be prompted to create a home in the application, which will guide you further in the process. When your home is created the gateway will be connected to your user account. -
Add your compatible nimly product to your home
When the gateway is connected, updated, and assigned to your home, you can add compatible products. Navigate to the device tab to add a new device. Select your smart door lock from the device list and follow the pairing process as instructed in the application. If the distance to your gateway too far, connect it to your wireless network found in the app settings. -
OPTIONAL: Is the distance between your gateway and lock still too far?
Improve the range by adding another compatible Zigbee-product from the device list, between the gateway and lock. For example, a smart contract or another useful product. It must be a 230V product to contribute to Zigbee-signal strength.
