DH 5424 Dehumidifier
The DH 5424 is a dehumidifier designed to reduce the humidity level in indoor spaces. It has a maximum dehumidification capacity of 24 liters per day and can operate at temperatures between 7°C and 35°C. The appliance has a drainage tank with a capacity of 4 liters and an option for continuous water drainage. It also has a control panel that allows you to adjust the desired humidity level and operating time.
Parts Description
- Control panel – used to adjust settings
- Air outlet louvers – releases dry air into the room
- Filter covering – covers the air filter
- Air filter – filters the air before being released
- Drainage tank – collects water extracted from the air
- Water outlet – allows for continuous water drainage
- Drainage hose – used with water outlet for continuous drainage
Before First Use
Before using the dehumidifier for the first time, ensure that the drainage tank is properly installed. Place the appliance on a flat surface and connect it to a power source. Read the instruction manual carefully before use.
Using the Control Panel
The control panel is located on top of the appliance and has the following buttons:
- Power On/Off – turns the appliance on or off

- Timer – sets the operating time between 1-24 hours
- Fan Speed – adjusts the fan speed between low, medium, and high
- Child Lock – locks the control panel to prevent children from tampering with settings
After selecting the desired settings, press the power button to turn on the appliance. The compressor will start and extract moisture from the air. When the desired humidity level is reached, the compressor will stop and only the fan will run. If the humidity level rises above the desired level, the compressor will start again.
Continuous Water Drainage
If you prefer not to manually empty the drainage tank, you can use the water outlet and drainage hose to allow water to drain continuously. Ensure that the drainage hose is properly connected and placed in a drainage area. The appliance will automatically stop when the drainage hose is disconnected or clogged.
