Lip Care Multi-Spectrum Light

The reVive Light Therapy® Lux Lip Care is a light therapy device for treatment of lip creases and wrinkles, temporary increase in circulation, and lip plumping.

Contraindications

• Do not use this device if your skin is sensitive to light or you are currently using medication that may cause skin sensitivity to light. Doing so may result in photosensitive reaction.
• If unsure whether your medication causes sensitivity to light, confirm with your physician prior to using this device.
• Discontinue use immediately if you experience any sensitivity to using this device.

**Warnings**

• Do not use if the device or power adapter has been exposed to water or other liquids, if it is defective or is damaged in any way. Doing so could cause an electric shock or result in injury. Please contact Customer Service at 1 800-337-9565 if the device has been damaged in any way
• Do not attempt to take the device apart. Any modification or attempted service will void the warranty.
• Do not store the device in sun or location with high temperatures, as this may cause damage to plastic casing.
• Discontinue use and contact Customer Service if device overheats or becomes uncomfortably hot to your skin.
• Do not exceed recommended treatment times or usage.

Precautions

• Do not use this device on infants or young children without physician approval.
• Do not shine the device directly into the eyes. Doing so may cause temporary vision discomfort.
• This product contains medical-grade silicone. If you have or suspect you have allergies to silicone, consult your doctor prior to use.
• Contact your doctor if you have any medical questions regarding use of this device.
• Contact your doctor prior to using if you:
  • Are pregnant or suspect you may be pregnant.
  • Have suspicious or cancerous lesions.

This product contains a lithium-ion battery that must be disposed of properly, according to local laws and regulations, and not as household waste. When the product reaches its end of life, check with your local state and municipal waste disposal regulations to learn about disposal and recycling options.
reVive Light Therapy® Lux Lip Care
Lux Lip Care is a light emitting diode (LED) device that emits energy to plump lips and treat wrinkles around the lip area. The device incorporates natural light energy in Infrared, Deep Red, Red, and Amber spectrums that are proven to reduce wrinkles, increase circulation, and plump lips.

Charging Instructions

1. Power indicator light will begin to flash when battery levels are low, indicating it is appropriate to begin charging.
2. Plug USB charging cord into port connector on the device.
3. Plug USB charging cord into a USB power adapter, and into outlet for charging.
4. Charge your Lux Lip Care for 2-4 hours. Indicator lightwill be solid red while charging and turn solid green when fully charged.

Light-Sensitivity Test
Test yourself for light-sensitivity prior to initial treatment:

1. Remove mouthpiece.
2. Power on your device.
3. Place device on the skin of your forearm.
4. After 3 minutes, check the area. If area has turned red, and redness lasts for more than 2 hours, your skin is light-sensitive.
5. If your skin is light-sensitive, discontinue use and contact Customer Service.

Operating Instructions

1. Fully charge device (2-4 hours). Unplug device (device will not work when plugged in).
2. Wash and dry treatment area prior to use.
3. Attach silicone tray to device.
4. Place silicone tray into mouth, securing device into place.
5. Power up device.
6. Leave the device over treatment area for 3 minutes. The device will auto shut-off after completion of 3-minute treatment.
7. To turn off device any time prior to auto shut-off, touch the On/Off button.
8. Use device daily for best results. Do not exceed 3 treatments per day.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Maintenance:

1. This is a medical device. It is important to keep it clean.
2. There are no user-serviceable parts in device.
3. Device includes only an On/Off button. All settings are set at the factory.
4. Power indicator light will begin to flash when battery levels are low, indicating it is appropriate to begin charging.

Cleaning:

1. Turn device off and unplug from any power source.
2. Separate Lip Care device from removable mouth tray.
3. Wash mouthpiece with lukewarm water and dry.
4. Wipe the device with damp cloth.
5. Allow to completely dry prior to use.

Troubleshooting

1. System not turning on:
   • Is the device fully charged? (Power indicator light will be solid red while charging and solid green when fully charged.)
   • If device still doesn’t turn on, contact Customer Service at 1 800-337-9565.

2. System is not charging:
   • Is USB charging cord firmly into power source and device? (Power indicator light will be solid red while charging and solid green when fully charged.)
   • Try a different wall outlet to confirm power is available.
   • Try a different power source to ensure it is working properly.
   • If device still doesn’t charge, contact Customer Service at 1 800-337-9565.

3. System shuts off abruptly prior to completion of 3-minute treatment:
   • System is designed to shut off automatically after 3 minutes.
   • Allow device to cool down for several minutes, then attempt to turn device on again.
   • If the device continues to shut off prior to 3 minutes, please contact Customer Service at 1 800-337-9565.

warranty to be effective.
What Is Covered by the Limited Warranty?
This 1-year limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in your Lux Lip Care, if you purchased it from an authorized partner or directly from the manufacturer (LED Technologies, Inc.). Your 1-year limited warranty is valid for you alone, the original purchaser, and cannot be transferred. If the product was a gift, you can ask the gift-giver to send a copy of the receiptto support@ledtechnologies.com, or process the warranty claim on your behalf. For international markets, the cost of shipping to and from is paid by the customer.
What Is Not Covered by the Limited Warranty?
This limited warranty does not cover damage, defects, or failure caused by abuse or misuse, improper care, impact, insertion of foreign objects, or loss of device.
How Long Does the Limited Warranty Last?
This limited warranty does not cover damage, defects, or failure caused by abuse or misuse, improper care, impact, insertion of foreign objects, or loss of device.
The limited warranty begins from the date of purchase and expires 1 year later. The warranty period is not extended if your device is replaced by LED Technologies, Inc. during the warranty period.
What Will We Do if Your Device Is Defective?
If you discover a covered defect in your Lux Lip Care before the 1-year warranty period expires, contact Customer Service at 1 800-337-9565 for assistance. All limited warranty service must be authorized and performed by LED Technologies, Inc.
Warranty Limitations and Disclaimers
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and is in addition to your statutory rights. Your remedies for the breach of this limited warranty are limited solely to the repair and replacement of your device as set forth in this warranty statement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LED Technologies, Inc. disclaims all implied warranties. If applicable law does not permit the disclaimer of implied warranties, then the duration of implied warranties are hereby expressly limited to the duration of the express limited warranty set forth above.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall LED Technologies, Inc. be liable for any special, incidental, consequential, punitive, or indirect damages based upon breach of warranty, breach of contract or other legal theory, negligence, strict product liability, or tort, even if LED Technologies, Inc. is advised or aware that such damages might arise.
Such damages include, but are not limited to, loss of device, cost of any substitute equipment, the claims of third parties, or damage to property. If the applicable law does not allow limits on warranties, or on remedies for breaching certain transactions, the limits in this paragraph and the disclaimer or exceptions from the warranty may not apply. This limitation does not apply to claims for death or personal injury caused by a defect in the device or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. These warranty terms, conditions, and limitations allocate the risks of product failure between LED Technologies, Inc. and you, the purchaser of Lux Lip Care. This allocation is recognized by both parties and is reflected in the price of Lux Lip Care. By using Lux Lip Care you acknowledge that you have read these terms, conditions, and limitations, understand them, and are bound by them.
