Wireless Connection
- Click the top right corner.
- Click the Connection to entry connection Settings page.
WIFI Connection
First connect your phone to ONSTEP’s WIFI hotspot.
- After the hotspot connection is successful, enter the IP address shown in the figure. Use the English input method and ensure that the IP address is the same.
- Click the A ccetp Waiting for the connection to succeed.
Bluetooth Connection.
First connect your phone to ONSTEP’s Bluetooth.
- Check Bluetooth Secure.
- Click On Step device.
- Click the Accetp, Waiting for the connect succeed.
Setting Time And Address

Click the top right corner.

Click the Observing Sites to entry page.

Take Suzhou as an example, input the longitude and latitude of the observed area, note that it is in the format of degrees/minutes/seconds, not decimal points. Dimensions are marked with a plus sign for north latitude, longitude is marked with a minus sign for east longitude, and UTC time is marked with a minus sign.

Click the Upload to uploading.

Waiting Success display.

Back to Home page Click the Initialize.

Back to Home page Click the Tracking.

Click the Start, at this time ,the motor is locked and cannot be turned by hand.

You can choose the tracking speed from three button, whick is Silderead Rate/Lunar Rate/Solar Rate.

Click the Set Date/Time and upload the date and time.

The displayed time should be consistent with the current date and time of the observing place.

Point the telescope manually at the North Pole, Click the At Home to setting the initial position.
Multiple star calibration

Back to Home page, Click the Initialize.

Click on the number to select the number of stars to calibrate.

Generally choose three.

Click on the Start Align to calibrate.

The number of stars being calibrated is displayed here, as shown in the figure as the first star. Select one in the list below to calibrate, and you can check the star map to see which star it is. The selected star points should be distributed in various places, not concentrated together.

After selecting a star point, click GOTO. At this time, the equator meter starts to move, and wait for the equator meter to move in place.

Observe whether the target is in the middle of the field of view through the star finder or primary mirror. If not, move the target to the middle of the field of view through the four arrow keys.

After making sure the target is in the middle of the field of view, long press Sync.

Hold down Sync and click OK in the dialog box that is displayed.

Repeat the above steps to complete the multi-star calibration.
At this point, your ONSTEP has been initialized. Youcan select a target to GOTO from the star list below the main menu.
