Preparation

A smartphone or tablet with Bluetooth 4.2 or above
System Requirements: Android 5.0 or above, iOS 10 or above
Download the SwitchBot app
Create a SwitchBot account and sign in

Getting Started

  1. Power on the Bulb.
  2. Open the SwitchBot app and sign in.
  3. Tap the “+” icon on the top right of the Home page.
  4. Tap the “Bulb” icon and follow the instruction to complete the setup.

Attention:

  • Before you install the Smart Bulb, please confirm you have switched off the bulb that you need to replace. Then remove the old one to replace the smart bulb.
  • Avoid using metal lampshades, this will damage Smart Bulb’s wifi signal strength.
  • Avoid using original dimmer switches to control Smart Bulb, it may cause failure in control.
  • Avoid using the original wall switch to power off  Smart Bulb, it will cut off Bulb’s network connection.
  • Do not disassemble or transform. The LED components cannot be replaced.
  • Never wash with water.
  • There is a deviation in LED components, even for the same type of products, the light color and brightness may vary.
  • Do not use in places where condensation occurs.
  • Maintenance method: please wipe it with dry cloth.

  • To avoid the risk of electric shock and burn, please turn off the power supply and wait for the bulb to cool down when installing, removing or cleaning.

  • Do not install the Smart Bulb with wet hands or when standing on wet or damp surfaces.

  • Compatible with regular light switches. Not suitable for use with standard in-wall dimmers.

  • Not compatible with photosensors, motion sensors, or timers.

Firmware, and Factory Reset

Firmware
Make sure you have the up-to-date firmware by upgrading in time.
Factory Reset
Turn the bulb on and off 8 times continually, until the Bulb is in breathing mode and then turn white.
Note: After resetting the device, all settings will resume back to default values.

Q &A
Q: Why can’t my bulb connect the network successfully?
A: Color Bulb supports most of dual-band Wi-Fi routers, if the Color Bulb fails to connect network, please log in to your Wi-Fi router’s setting page, edit the name of the 5.0GHz band to differ it from the 2.4GHz band.
Q: Why couldn’t I turn on my bulb by wall switch?
A: 1) Please make sure your wall switch has a power supply.
2) Find the setting of Power Loss Recovery on the SwitchBot App, choose the behavior of your bulb when it loses power. Select turn on.

This product has a one-year warranty (begins from the date of purchase). The situations below do not fit the Return and Refund
Policy.
