SAFETY PRECAUTION

  • Please read this manual carefuly before operating the air conditioner.
  • Pay special attention to signs “WARNING”. The “Warning” section contains matters, which, if not observed strictly, may cause death or serious injury.
  • Please follow all instructions strictly to help ensure your safety.

WARNING

  • All wiring must conform to local and national electrical codes.
  • To avoid possible electrical shock, you must ground your air conditioner.
  • This air conditioner requires a separate power supply on a separately fused circuit.
  • Do not insert your finger, a sticker, or any other object into the air inlet and air Outlet.
  • Do not expose the skin directly to the indoor airflow for an extended period of time.
  • Do not install the outdoor condensing unit near flammable gas. The condensing unit may catch fire if flammable gas leaks.

REMINDER

  • Keep this manual for future reference as it contains important installation and safety precautions.

Call for service when:

  • Abnormal operating noise is heard.
  • A fuse blows or a circuit breaker trips frequently.
  • The Controls do not work properly

CONTROL

CONTROL PAD

  • MODE SELECTOR (LONG PRESS FOR 3 SEC)
  • AIR SWING (SHORT PRESS)
  • FAN SPEED BUTTON
  • TEMPERATURE UP BUTTON
  • TEMPERATURE DOWN BUTTON
  • POWER ON/ OFF BUTTON

NOTE: BUTTONS ARE HIGHLY TOUCH SENSITIVE.

USING THE CONTROL PAD

Power On the Unit
Turn on the power to the unit by pressing the button on the control pad. When turned on. the system will operate to the last setting. The LCD Display will show the system status.

Mode Setting
Press and Hold the button for three (3) seconds to change the mode.

  • The LCD shows symbol for FAN, COOL. and ORY mode respectively.

Fan Speed Setting

While Auto speed is set, the fan speed (High, Medium, Low) will be changed automatically according to the system circulation.

Note:

  1. The Auto speed cannot be set in Fan mode.
  2. The indoor fan may not work if some functions or protections are activated.

Temperature Setting

  • Press button to set the temperature in a range of 17 – 30°C.

NOTE: The temperature cannot be set while in the FAN mode.

The numeric display will blink the new setting for five (5) seconds. Then it will stop blinking and show its idle state which may be the return-air (room) temperature or may be set temperature. It depends on the option setting. Press and hold buttons for five (5) seconds to change this setting. The numeric display will show , for room temperature as idle state or it will show for set temperature for idle state.

Sweep Activation

  • Press button to turn on and off the air swing function.

LED brightness
Press and hold buttons for three (3) seconds to dim the brightness of LEO. To set the brightness back to normal. press and hold  buttons for three (3) seconds again or turn off then turn on the air conditioner again .

24 Hour Timer Setting

  • Can be activated only by using the Remote control wireless handset. The air-conditioner can be programmed to tum ON and OFF in advance by setting the timer on the Remote Controller.

Sleep Mode

  • Can be activated only by using the Remote control wireless handset. Pressing the SLEEP button on the remote controller will activate the sleep mode. One (1) hour after activation of sleep mode, the controlled temperature will be adjusted automatically after 1 hour. Temperature will be raised by one degree (1’C) from set temperature for more comfortable and energy saving at night time.

NOTE: The Sleep function can be used only in Cool mode. If the mode is changed the Sleep ! function will be canceled.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning Your Air Filters
A dirty air filter will cause a reduction in airflow. Reduction of airflow causes overloading and consumes more electricity. Therefore, regular cleaning is necessa,y for efficient and trouble-free operation.

CLEANING THE UNIT

  • Clean the air conditioner with a damp cloth and wipe it d,y.
  • Do not use water above 40°C for cleaning, as this will cause discoloration and deformation.
  • Remove dust from the louver area with your vacuum cleanefs thin nozzle.
  • Do not splash water directly to the body of the unit. as this may cause a short circuit.
  • Do not use thinner, benzene, abrasive powder, nor hot water to clean the unit.

Not to be Operated for a Long Period of Time
When the air conditioner is not going to be used for a long period of time. switch off the power from the circuit breaker.

After a Power Failure
Auto-restart function and non-volatile memo,y will automatically tum ON the untt and return it to its previous setting.

Before Putting The System Back To Operation

  • Tum on the main power to the system at the outdoor unit.
  • Run the unit in fan mode for a while to dear the air flow before you operate it in another mode.

Tips on Using the Air Conditioner

  • Clean the filter eve,y other week for higher efficiency.
  • Use curtains or blinds to prevent heat gain from the sunlight to the room. Doing so will help reduce electric consumption.
  • Close all windows and doors when operating the unit so that there is no leakage of conditioned air outside the room.
  • Do not locate a heater or any other heat source near the unit. The heat may deform plastic parts.
