Installing the REMOTE IN connection

The ST6000 can have its REMOTE IN (REM) connection wired three different ways, depending on your vehicle’s system:

• CAN SYSTEM:

This system has timings that can cause PUF in the audio system. To minimize this happening in vehicles with this system, we recommend installing the REMOTE IN (green) wire to the ignition switch signal.

• MANUAL ACTIVATION:

Use a switch between the REMOTE
IN (green) and the positive battery connection for manual operation of the ST6000.
