FAQ’s
Are all Dell monitor stands the same?
No, the designs are the same but they are slightly different. Larger monitors have taller stands, to accommodate the 90-degree rotation, and the height- adjust mechanism is weighted to the specific monitor it’s being used for, so the stands are not interchangeable unless it’s from a model of similar size and weight.
Can you use a Dell monitor stand with another monitor?
All dell docks are VESA compatible, so as long as your monitor is as well, you would be good.
Can all monitors go on a dual stand?
yes, most monitors can be mounted on a monitor arm. Monitors come with the standard VESA hole pattern of 75 x 75 mm or 100 x 100 mm on the back of the monitor for attaching to a monitor arm.
How do I position my dual monitor stand?
Position the main monitor squarely in front of your body and at eye level, and make sure your secondary monitor is at a parallel height to the main display.
How do I balance my monitor stand?
If the arm is too strong, turn the adjustment screw clockwise. If the arm is too weak, turn the adjustment screw counter-clockwise.
What is the advantage of dual monitor stands?
Ergonomics are, ultimately, the core advantage of using a dual-monitor arm. Putting your displays on a single, adjustable mount allows you to position your displays to reduce the number of neck movements you have to do in your daily work.
What are the dimensions of the base?****
The base is not a rectangle. It is almost a trapezoid with a shorter (and straight) side in the front and a longer (slightly curvy) side in the back. It can fit in a 19″ x 10″ rectangle.
How high from the desk does the bottom of the monitors stand (24″)?****
The pair of Dell 27″ monitors I have are just under 7″ above the desk.
If you have 27” can you make one vertical while connected or would they hit?****
Yes, the stand is adjustable, so you can place the monitors in just about any position you choose.
Does the watt dell model monitor work with this stand?****
This stand has been designed to work with Dell UltraSharp and P-series monitors with Dell Quick Release, Dell E-series monitors, and 19” to 27” VESA- compatible monitor panels.
How do I use my Dell monitor stand?****
Push the stand down towards the monitor until it locks in place, (The base of the stand will extend past the level of the desk and you can hear an audible “Click” when the latch is engaged). Gently lift up on the base to ensure the mount lock is fully engaged before setting the display upright.
Can you use a Dell monitor stand with other monitors?****
All dell docks are VESA compatible, so as long as your monitor is as well, you would be good.
How many VESA adapter plates does it include?****
This stand comes with 2 Vesa adapter plates.
Is this compatible with dell s2319nx monitors?****
Yes compatible with dell s2319nx monitors
Does this work with E2216HV monitors?****
Yes, this dual monitor stand is compatible with E2216HV monitors.
