Model: AM-924

The AM-924 is a motherboard with a Baby AT form factor. It supports processors with an on-board VRM 8.4 and uses a BIOS for system management. It has cache memory built into the CPU, and supports up to 256MB or 512MB of memory using two 168-pins DIMMs.
The on-board graphic engine is integrated with a 64-bit 3D/2D graphic engine and resolutions up to 1600 x 1200. It also has hardware motion compensation for S/W MPEG2 decode (DVD) and supports DirectX6 and OpenGL API.

The motherboard has on-board I/O support including two PCI enhanced IDEs, two FDDs, one ECP/EPP parallel port, two 16550A UART serial ports, two USB ports, PS/2 mouse port, and PS/2 keyboard port. The on-board sound includes an integrated AC97 controller with standard AC97 codec and Crystal PCI sound (optional) with full DOS game support. Product Usage Instructions

To use the AM-924 motherboard, first ensure that you have installed a compatible processor with an on-board VRM 8.4. Install up to 256MB or 512MB of memory using two 168-pins DIMMs.

Connect your on-board I/O devices including two PCI enhanced IDEs, two FDDs, one ECP/EPP parallel port, two 16550A UART serial ports, two USB ports, PS/2 mouse port, and PS/2 keyboard port. Install the necessary drivers for the on- board sound and Crystal PCI sound (optional) with full DOS game support.

Activate the hardware monitoring feature for voltage, temperature, fan speed monitoring, and CPU overheat protection. Plug in any expansion slots including four PCI bus slots and one Audio Modem Riser (AMR).

Use the plug and play specification 1.1 to quickly and easily set up your motherboard. Comply with Energy Star Green PC Program to ensure efficient power management. Take advantage of the WAKE-ON-LAN (WOL) feature to wake your computer from sleep mode.
Use the suspend to RAM (STR) option (optional) to save power while your computer is in sleep mode.
