The Neo sensor is for use on the hand or foot of very small babies. The recommended weight is less than 3 kg. The Neo sensor is also for use on the finger or toe of large children greater than 40 kg. ALWAYS ensure you check for good sensor alignment as your child grows. When the emitter and detector no longer align when wrapped on the hand or foot you will need to switch to an Infant sensor on the finger or toe.

When do I use the Infant Sensor?

  • The Infant sensor is for use on the fingers and toes of infants and children.
  • The recommended range is for infants greater than 3 to 20 kg in weight.
  • Use this sensor when the Neo sensor no longer aligns properly on your childs’ hand or foot.
