Brief Function

  • Insert two AA batteries into the backside of RC-300.
  • Press the POWER button for 1 second to turn on power.
  • Then the blue LED will turn on.
  • RC-300 works as a BLE Central (Master) role. It will connect to the last connected Peripheral device or connect to a very closed Peripheral device.
  • After connecting, RC-300 will send 6-byte remocon data via BLE if one or multiple buttons of U/D/L/R/1/2/3/4/5/6 is pressed.

Power

Use two AA batteries for the power source.

Function

Deep Sleep Mode

  • After batteries are installed, RC-300 enters Deep Sleep Mode.
  • In Deep Sleep Mode, RC-300 turns off BLE and LED, it consumes very low current.
  • In Deep Sleep Mode, RC-300 will enter Active Mode by pressing the POWER button for  1 second.

Active Mode

  • BLE is turned on in Active Mode.
  • Before BLE is connected, the blue LED will blink every 0.5 second. After BLE is connected to a peripheral device, the blue LED will be kept turned on.
  • After connecting to a peripheral device, if any button is pressed, RC-300 will send 6-bytes packets via BLE to the peripheral device every 50ms. After all buttons are released, RC-300 will send a 6-bytes packet with value 0.
  • RC-300 will enter Deep Sleep Mode if there is no input for 2.5 minute.
  • If total battery voltage is under 1.6V, RC-300 will enter Deep Sleep Mode after 4 times of 0.2 sec interval blinking.
  • Enter Deep Sleep Mode by pressing the POWER button for 2 seconds.
