Basic Functions
Messages (organized into Groups)
- Nearby
- BER
- Running
- Walking
MeeBaa is a simple two-way radio, operating on 915MHz band. Data rate is
38.4kbps. It sends out 3 types of messages. (1) Fixed text messages with GPS
location, (2) voice messages and (3) vibration sequence code can be sent and
received. Current available groups are: Nearby, BER, Running, Walking. In our
future upgrades, we maybe able to add more groups.
The 3 types of short messages
- Fixed text message (MeeBaa.Hi – aaaa) + GPS location, aaaa are random characters.
- Recorded voice message of maximum 20 seconds long, by long-pressing the MeeBaa key to talk. Once released the voice message will be sent out to the intended group.
- Morse code sequence can be recorded using the Morse key on the side. The sequence once completed can be sent out to the selected group. The receiver device will vibrate in the same exact sequence as it was recorded by the sender.
MeeBaa: send or record voice
- Press once: send a message (text and GPS location)
- Long Press (Push-to-Talk): record voice message and then send once released.
Keys and Indicators
Power: power on and off the device
- Power On: press once
- Power Off: long press for about 8 seconds
Morse: Morse code sequence generation key. The usage:
- Long press: represents a long symbol, the press time duration is recorded
- Short press: represents a short symbol, the press time duration is recorded
- Create your message pattern: Such as S.S.L.S.L.L, the sequence of long and short symbols is recorded
- Press the MeeBaa key once, the recorded Morse code sequence is then immediately sent out to the group. The receiving device will play the vibration sequence with the exactly press time duration for each symbol.
