YZC WL-T1 Wireless Remote Control Extender Kit
WIRELESS INFRARED REPEATER SYSTEM KIT
Wireless Dual Band IR Remote Control Extender up to at least 100 meter
So you want to install your stereo system speakers in the dining room so as to play some nice music over dinner while hosting your guests BUT you can’t change the volume or songs selection without going to the hall physically to adjust the volume control on your receiver right? This is not a problem at all with our Wireless Infrared Repeater Kit!! This wireless IR extender converts the IR signal into an RF signal at 433.92 MHz, for transmission to the receiver unit, up to 100 meters away, through walls, doors, ceilings, floors, or whatever. At the receiving end, an IR emitter cable repeats the IR signal from your remote to up to eight individual components (by purchasing additional Quad emitter cables), so you can use them for A/V receivers, DVD players, and satellite receivers, for example. The extender operates in the IR range from 34 – 60 kHz Dual Band IR signals.
Basic Function:
To control audio and video devices like AV receiver, DVD Blu-ray player, and satellite receiver set top box STB etc, that are located in another room or hidden in your AV component cabinet. This wireless remote control transmitter and receiver system kit allow you to control devices between 30 to 150 meters away through walls, doors, ceilings, floors, etc. Note that different home build up and wireless equipment use at home may affect IR transmitting distance. Besides using the included DC5V power adaptors, both the Transmitter (TX) and Receiver Block can also be powered up by the USB ports of A/V devices.
Set-Up:
Wireless Receiver Block is to be placed in the same locations as the devices you are trying to control. When it gets the signal from the Transmitter Block, the IR emitter connected on the Receiver block will send the signals to respective devices inside the cabinet. (Dual Eye IR Emitter, Quad Eye IR Emitter optional). Wireless Transmitter Block is at the location where remote control will be taking place. It is connected with an IR Receiver which receive signals from the remote control. Upon receiving the signal from IR Receiver, the transmitter will send signal to Receiver Block at another location. Additional Wireless Transmitter block can be purchased if user want to remote control from more locations.
Questions & Answers
Not able to work?
Check all power supplies. Ensure all respective cables are connected well.
Check battery strength for Remote control. Ensure IR Emitter is on the best
position, especially if the IR status light blink when the remote is pressed.
Blinking red shows that signal has already been sent.
Devices do not respond to repeater kit or respond infrequently:
In this case please check to ensure that the components that you are trying to
control are COMPLETELY out of the line of sight of your remote control while
you are trying to control them with the repeater kit. Should the device
receive more than one IR signal at a time, this may cause the device to become
“confused” and not respond well or at all. Also, check to ensure there are no
mirrors or objects that may be bouncing the signal back to your devices from
the remote control.
Not able to locate the IR receiver on devices:
First, if you have not already done so, shine a flashlight through the front
faceplate of the device to help view into the device. Where the IR receiver
is located the face plate will likely be more clear and you will be able to
see through the face plate. The IR receivers come in many shapes and sizes,
though typically it looks like a tiny dome. If that fails to work, try moving
the emitter around the face of the device VERY SLOWLY, about 1-2 inches away
from the device. Do this while another person tries to control it with the
remote control via the repeater kit. Once a response is received from the
device, start bringing the emitter closer to the device. Should both these
things fail, please feel free to contact your supplier?
IR Emitter cable must be fully inserted into the Emitter port on Receiver Block. Unpeel the adhesive tape behind the IR emitter and paste it on the IR sensor in A/V devices. Dual eye and Quad eye IR Emitter cables can be added if user wish to control more than one device. The unused IR Receiver port is ready to serve with an IR Receiver cable if A/V devices are hidden in a cabinet.
