CANDLE CARE
THE FIRST BURN SETS THE STAGE
When a candle is lit for the first time, it is very important that you allow it to burn until the entire wax surface has melted. This prevents “tunneling” and “memory rings.”
TRIM THE WICK. EVERY TIME.
The ideal wick length is 1/8″ to 1/4″ above the wax. Use a wick trimmer or sharp pair of scissors. Trimming the wick before each burn allows the candle to burn more efficiently and prevents soot from developing around the glass edge and burning off into your home.
KNOW WHEN TO STOP
Keep your burn to about 3 or 4 hours at a time. Retire the candle when 1/2″ of wax remains in the vessel. Clean out the wax and recycle or re-use the container.
KEEP IT CLEAN
Always keep the surface of the candle free of debris, such as dust or wick trimmings.
