IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read all instructions before using your product. By ignoring the safety instructions the manufacturer cannot be held responsible for the damage. When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be observed, including the following:
IMPORTANT: This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children shall not use or play with this appliance. Close supervision is necessary to keep appliance and cord out of reach of children during use.

WARNING

TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK OR INJURY:

  • Never move the appliance by pulling the cord and make sure the cord does not become entangled. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.

Safety Batteries

  • Do not expose the battery to high temperatures or direct sunlight. Never throw batteries into the fire. There is a danger of explosion!
  • Keep batteries away from children. Batteries are not a toy!
  • Do not open the batteries by force.
  • Avoid contact with metallic objects.(Rings, nails, screws et cetera) there is a danger of short-circuiting!
  • As a result of a short-circuit batteries may heat up consider-ably or even catch fire. this may result in burns.
  • For your safety the battery poles should be covered with adhesive strips during transport.
  • Do not touch a ruptured and/or leaking battery. If the liquid from the battery gets into your eyes, rinse your eyes as soon as possible with clean water, without rubbing your eyes. Immediately go to the hospital. If it is not treated properly, it can cause eye problems.
  • Do not ingest battery, Chemical Burn Hazard;
  • If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
  • If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
  • The batteries contain materials, which are hazardous to the environment; they must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped and they are disposed of safely

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 100 cm. free space around the device. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outside use.
  • Connect the power cable to the socket. (Note: Make sure the indicated voltage on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the device. Voltage 220V-240V~ 50/60Hz.)
  • When the device will not be in use for a long time, please unplug the power cord.
  • Warning: The below may sometimes occur due to the overlap of the remote control frequencies. Please pay attention to this while using the remote control:
    1. This device may react when using a remote control for other appliances.
    2. When using the remote control of this device, other electrical appliances may react.
  • Place 2x AAA batteries into the remote control, make sure the polarity (+ and -) is correct.

Open the battery case as shown.

Put the battery into the bat-tery box. pay attention to the positive and negative electrodes of the battery. Please use two triple-A batteries.

Cover the battery case.

USE

  • Place the unit on a firm level surface.
  • Plug in the unit.
  • Select the desired setting using the icons on the display or the buttons on the remote control.

Display / Remote control buttons

  • Oscillation   icon/button: Press Oscillation to turn on the oscillation function. The fan will swing from left to right. Press again to stop oscillating.
  • Timer icon/button: Press timer to select the desired range between 1 hour to 15 hours.
  • Power icon/button: The device can be switched on and off by pressing the power button.
  • Speed icon/button: Press to increase or decrease the fan speed. Choose from 3 levels – 1 LOW – 2 MEDIUM – 3 HIGH.
  • Mode icon/button: Press to choose between 2 different breeze patterns – The display panel will show the current mode:


Natural
– (randomly cycle through different speed settings to recreate an outdoor natural breeze)


Sleep
– (slows down the fan speed so you can still feel the air flow with reduced noise level)

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Before cleaning, unplug the device.
  • Surface cleaning: Wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth, if extremely dirty clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device. Then wipe with a dry soft cloth.
  • Air outlet: Use a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner to clean the dust at the air outlet. Make sure to clean it when there is less dust. Too much dust is not healthy and will reduce the efficiency.
  • Remote control: Gently wipe the surface of the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Remove the batteries if the remote control will not be used for a long time

This appliance should not be put into the domestic garbage at the end of its life, but must be offered at a central point for the recycling of electric and electronic domestic appliances. To avoid overheating as a result of a short circuit, lithium batteries must be removed from the product and the poles must be protected using insulation tape or some other means against short-circuiting.
