- The steam that is released from the cloth can reach a temperature greater than 100°C. Wait several minutes and check that the cloth has cooled down before handling it.
- The essential oils tablet* must be inserted or replaced before use only when the product is cold.
- Keep the appliance and the essential oil tablets* out of the reach of children and animals.
- Do not put tablets containing essential oils* in your mouth or near your eyes.
- Keep the appliance out of reach of children when it is plugged into the mains or cooling.
- This appliance makes floors wet, which can make them slippery.

Power supply safety
- Before each use, the cord must be unwound completely.
- The cord must not become stuck and must not pass over sharp edges.
- Check that your mains voltage matches the voltage indicated on the appliance’s identification plate. Only plug the product into earthed sockets. Any faulty connection can cause irreversible damage and will invalidate the guarantee.
- If you use an extension cord, make sure that it is in perfect condition and is adapted to the power of the appliance.
- Disconnect the appliance by removing it from the plug socket, without pulling on the cord:
- Immediately after each use.
- Before changing the accessories (cloth, filter, descaling cartridge, ultra glider, tablets containing essential oil).
- Before filling the water tank.
- Before cleaning or maintaining the appliance (air duct, suction head, etc.).
- Before storing or cleaning the appliance, ensure that the product is not too hot.
Safety of use and storage
- This appliance is for indoor domestic and household use only.
- Your product is an electrical appliance: it must be used under normal conditions of use. Stay away from the steam and suction ports (especially your eyes, hands and ears).
- Do not store the appliance outdoors.
- Do not store the appliance at height, near a heat source (such as a radiator), and make sure it is on a stable, heat and water-resistant surface.
- Do not expose the appliance to temperatures < 0°C and > 40°C.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water, and do not spray water on the appliance.
- Do not vacuum up water or liquids of any kind, hot substances, ultrafine substances (plaster, cement, ashes, etc.), large pieces of sharp debris (glass), harmful products (solvents, etc.), aggressive liquids (acids, cleaners, etc.), flammable and explosive liquids (petrol or alcohol-based).
- Do not direct steam at people, animals, chemicals, or electrical appliances, such as the inside of ovens or electrical outlets.
- Never put your hands near the steam jet.
- Do not use the appliance barefoot, in flip-flops, or in open-toed shoes.
- Do not use the product with wet or damp hands.
- Do not use distilled water, condensate from dryers, scented water, water from air conditioning systems, or other similar systems in the water tank.
- Do not use chemicals or detergents in the water tank or product foams.
- Essential oils can have unwanted effects. Their use is under your sole responsibility, Rowenta accepts no responsibility in this regard. Read the instructions supplied with the bottles of essential oil carefully before use to check its compatibility with the appliance. Strictly observe the recommendations for use indicated in the essential oils leaflet, especially in case of allergies, asthma, pulmonary or chronic disease, in the presence of pregnant or lactating women, children under 8 years of age, people with epilepsy, or those with a history of seizure disorder.
- The essential oil tablet* must be positioned only in the space provided for this purpose, never put it in the water tank.
- Do not pour more than one drop of essential oil per tablet per week.
- Do not inhale the essential oil tablet.
- The tablet*, when not in the product, must be stored in the container provided for this purpose.
- Never use any other tablet other than the one recommended by the manufacturer.
- Ventilate your rooms after diffusing essential oils.
- Wash your hands after each handling of essential oils.
- Do not use several devices diffusing essential oils simultaneously.
Maintenance safety/After-Sales
- Repairs should only be carried out by specialists with original spare parts: repairing an appliance yourself can be dangerous for the user.
- If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their after-sales service or a similarly qualified person to avoid any hazards.
- Do not use accessories other than those guaranteed to be originals.

In accordance with existing regulations, any end-of-life appliances must be taken to an approved Service Centre which will take responsibility for managing their disposal.

Recommendations For Use
Your appliance has three steam levels: Min, Medium & Max.

Caution
- Do not use this product on surfaces that have been treated with wax, as the coating may be damaged by the action of heat.
- We recommend that you check the floor manufacturer’s instructions for use and precautions and test the steam function in an inconspicuous area before cleaning.
- To completely sanitize your floors, place the appliance in the area to be disinfected and use the continuous steam operation for at least 60 seconds.
Cleaning head with essential oils diffuser
The cleaning head has space for a tablet, onto which you can pour a few drops of essential oil (not included with the appliance). The tablet is reusable; you can pour on a few drops of essential oils to refresh the fragrance’s smell. The tablet should be replaced when it becomes worn.

oil.
