plug this appliance into an earthed socket. Before first use, remove the
packing materials. Then, wash the accessories and the inner pan in warm water.
Dry them well before use. Make sure that the electrical parts remain dry. The
deep fryer is equipped with an adjustable thermostat and indicator lamps. The
“open” frying system ensures excellent professional results and easy cleaning.
The appliance may emit some smoke and a characteristic smell when you switch
it on for the first time. This is normal and will stop soon.
HOW TO OPPERATE THE DEEP FRYER
To fix the handle to the basket, press the ends together and insert the ends
into the two rounds inside the basket. Press the handle on the rectangular
metal part of the basket. Make sure it fits firmly.
- Never switch on the deep fryer without oil or fat, as this could damage the machine. Also, do not place any other liquids such as water or other substances in the pan.
- Place the deep fryer on a dry, stable surface.
- Since the deep fryer becomes hot during use, make sure that it is not too close to other objects.
- Remove the lid from the deep fryer and take out the accessories. While heating up and frying, do not keep the lid on the appliance to prevent condensation.
- Fill the deep fryer with the desired amount of oil or liquid fat. Only liquid fat can be used in this type of deep fryer. Make sure that it is filled not less than minimum level and not higher than the maximum level as indicated on the inside of the appliance. Never mix fats and oils, as the deep fat fryer could spill over, even the mixing of various types of oil and fat with one another is dangerous.
- Connect the power plug to a suitable outlet; the red indicator light illuminates.
- Set the thermostat to the required temperature setting, which is suitable for what you are frying. Consult the temperature table.
- The temperature control light shows green. The oil fat is heated to the required temperature within 20 to 25 minutes.
- Use the handle to place the basket in the deep fryer.
- Place the food to be deep-fried into the basket. For best result, put dry food into the basket. Never use previously defrosted and subsequently refrozen products. These contain a lot of water which will cause excessive spattering.
- Lower the basket into the oil slowly to prevent excessive bubbling.
- The indicator light will go out when the temperature you have selected has been reached. Always wait until the selected temperature has been reached. To keep the oil at the selected temperature, the thermostat repeatedly goes on and off, and the indicator light as well.
- Raise the basket again when the frying time has elapsed.
- After frying let the product drip dry, never shake the basket.
- Set the thermostat to the lowest level (turn the thermostat fully anticlockwise.)
- Remove the plug from the outlet.
- Rinse the handle and the basket after use, and dry thoroughly.
- Once the deep fryer has completely cooled off, you can replace the basket in the appliance and store it. Store the deep fryer, with the lid close, in a dark, dry place. In this way, you can leave the oil and the basket in the deep fryer when storing.
FRYING TIPS
- Use a maximum of 200 grams of French fries per litre of oil.
- With deep-freeze products; use a maximum of 100 grams because they quickly cool off. Shake deep-freeze products above the sink to remove excess ice.

SAFETY
Safety thermal cut-out

or solid frying fat is melted in the deep fat fryer. In the case of solid fat
is melted in the deep fat fryer. In the case of solid fat, the heating element
is unable to radiate the produced heat quickly enough. If the safety thermal
cut-out switches off the deep fat fryer, proceed as follows:
- Allow the oil or fat to cool down.
- Carefully push in the (reset switch) at the rear of the control element with a small screwdriver.
The deep fat fryer is now ready to use again.
Safety switch
The safety switch in the control element ensures that the heating element can
only be switched when the control element locks with a click.
