Warning:

  1. Do not leave the fan running unattended.

  2. Keep electrical appliances out of reach of children or infirm persons. Do not let them use the appliances without supervision.

  3. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

  4. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

  5. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

  6. After the fan is assembled, the rotor blade guard shall not be taken off again.

    • Prior to cleaning, unplug the fan.
    • The rotor guard shall not be dissembled/opened to clean the rotor blades.
    • Wipe the fan enclosure and rotor blade guard with a slightly damp cloth.
  7. WARNING—To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this fan with any solid-state speed control device.

  8. This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Replace the fuse as per the user servicing instructions
    (follow product marking for proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit may be present and the product should be discarded or returned to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.

  9. Do not operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug. Discard fan or return to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.

  10. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.

Assembly

  1. Take out the fan body and fan parts from the box. Put the front base onto rear base and join them together. (See Fig. 1)
  2. Align the cord with the wire gap, and insert the fan body into the base.(See Fig. 3)
  3. Secure the base to the fan body by screwing the plastic Fig. 1 nut onto the threaded portion of the fan body. (See Fig. 2)

Operating Instructions

  1. Plug the fan into any standard household outlet.
  2. Position — speed: 1 — low; 2 — medium; 3 — high; 0 — off.
  3. Press the oscillation button to start the fan body oscillating. Press again to stop oscillation.

User Servicing Instructions

  1. Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on cord.
  2. Open fuse cover. Slide open fuse access cover on top of attachment plug towards blades.
  3. Remove fuse carefully. Push the fuse from the other side or turn fuse holder over to remove fuse.
  4. Risk of fire. Replace fuse only with 2.5 A, 125 V fuse.
  5. Close fuse cover. Slide closed the fuse access cover on top of attachment plug.
  6. Risk of fire. Do not replace attachment plug. It contains a safety device (fuse) that should not be removed. Discard product if the attachment plug is damaged.

Note:

  1. Do not force the fuse when replacing to reduce the risk of damage.
  2. If the fuse is difficult to insert, please ensure it is aligned correctly.

Maintenance Instructions

The fan requires little maintenance. Do not try to fix it by yourself. Consult qualified service personnel if service is needed.

  1. Before cleaning, make sure fan is disconnected from power source.
  2. Keep vents at the rear of the motor housing clear from dust.
  3. Do not allow water or any other liquid into the motor housing or interior parts.

Cleaning

  1. Exterior plastic parts can be cleaned with a damp cloth or sponge lightly soaked with a mild detergent. Do not use abrasive detergent or solvent to avoid scratching the surface. Do not use gasoline, paint thinner, or other volatile chemicals to clean this fan.
  2. Dry all parts completely before reassembling and reconnecting to power source.

Warranty

This product carries a one (1) year warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. Trileaf Distribution agrees to replace a defective product free of charge within the stated warranty period, when returned by the original purchaser with proof of purchase. This product is not guaranteed against wear or breakage due to misuse and/or abuse.
