SAFETY
- By ignoring the safety instructions the manufacturer can not be hold responsible for the damage.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- Never move the appliance by pulling the cord and make sure the cord cannot become entangled.
- To protect yourself against an electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or appliance in the water or any other liquid.
- The appliance must be placed on a stable, level surface.
- The user must not leave the device unattended while it is connected to the supply.
- This appliance is only to be used for household purposes and only for the purpose it is made for.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- This appliance shall not be used by children aged less than 8 years. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless older than 8 and supervised.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate remote-control system.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
- Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
- Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10 cm. free space around the device. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet. Item can be used outside in case of good weather.
- Put the power cable into the socket. (Note: Make sure the voltage which is indicated on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the device. Voltage 220V-240V 50/60Hz)
- Turn the thermostat clockwise to the highest setting and allow the device heating at least 5 minutes without food. Take note that the stone plate takes longer to heat up (approx. 20 minutes).
- When the device is turned on for the first time, a slight odour will occur. This is normal, ensure adequate ventilation. This fragrance is only temporary and will disappear soon.
- The indicator light will stay on when the thermostat has reached the desired temperature.
USE
Use of the grill plate
- Grease the griddle and the pans with a little oil.
- Do not use anything metal, to avoid damaging the non-stick coating.
- During cooking, any bits of food left behind should be removed immediately to prevent them from sticking onto the plate.
- On the grill plate, there is a round recessed part which you can use for baking eggs or crepes.
Use of the stone grill plate

Place the stone grill plate with the shiny side up on the bars. Never place the cold stone on a preheated device.
‘Never preheat the device for longer than 30 minutes; the stone grill plate will be too hot for optimal use. -
Never put material between the stone grill plate and the heatingelement.

It is advisable to grease the stone grill plate with vegetable oil lightly and sprinkle it with some salt after preheating, it reduces the sticking on the grill stone. Grease the pans with a little oil.

Never put frozen ingredients on the hot grill stone plate.
Use of the crêpe plate
- Grease the griddle and the pans with a little oil.
- Do not use anything metal, to avoid damaging the non-stick coating.

- On the grill plate, there are 6 recessed parts that you can use for baking eggs or small crepes.
Additional information
- Small pieces of meat and/or fish cook quicker than big pieces.
- The pans can also be used to cook meat, make sure it is sliced thin.
- Never move the grill plate when it is still hot, you could get burned.
- When you put your food on the griddle, make sure you will turn it regularly.
- Do not pierce the meat; this makes it lose some of its juices and some of its flavour.
- Never place an empty pan on the reflective surface under the grill plate.
- Never put frozen food on the grill plate, the heat shock could damage the plate.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
DANGER OF ELECTROCUTION! Always unplug the appliance from the wall socket and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
WARNING! To protect against fire, electric shock, or injury, do not immerse the power cord, plug, or appliance in water or other liquids, as they contain electrical components. Never rinse them under the tap or expose them to dripping or splashing water. Keep all electrical parts dry.
NOTE: Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents, wire brushes, sharp objects, or scouring pads to clean the appliance. Use mild liquid dish detergent.
• Always turn off the device and remove the power cord from the appliance.
• Remove the grill plate and raclette pans from the appliance and wash them in
warm soapy water with a soft sponge or cloth. To remove stubborn food residue,
soak the grill plate/raclette pans for a few minutes before cleaning. Rinse
well and allow to dry.
• Wipe the surfaces of the appliance with a soft cloth lightly moistened with
water. To remove stubborn stains, wipe the appliance with a soft cloth lightly
moistened with warm soapy water. Dry the appliance thoroughly with a soft, dry
cloth after cleaning.
• Allow all parts to dry completely.
• Store the appliance in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children.
