GET STARTED

Step 1: Insert the included 5-volt AC power adapter into forecast station and then into wall outlet.
Step 2: Insert 3 new AA batteries (not included) into the forecast station. Observe the correct polarity.
Step 3: Insert 2 new AA batteries (not included) into the outdoor sensor. Observe the correct polarity. The red LED will flash when transmitting.

Restart: If the outdoor temperature is not displayed after 3 minutes, remove batteries from the station & sensor and press a button 20 times. After 15 minutes, return to Step 1 above.

SET TIME, DATE AND OTHER FEATURES

Hold the SET button to enter time set mode.

  1. Press the + or -/℃/℉ buttons to adjust values.
  2. Press the SET button to confirm adjustments and move to the next item.
  3. Press and release the UP or DOWN button to select the desired weekday language: FR (French), GE (German), IT (Italian), NE (Dutch), ES (Spanish), DA (Danish), and EN (English). Press and release the SET button to continue. Time set order : 1, Beep ON/OFF 2, Weekday language, default French 3, 12/24-Hour
  4. Hour 5, Minutes 6, Year 7, Month 8, Date

Press the SNOOZE/LIIGHT/ button at any time to exit or wait 20 seconds without pressing buttons to return to the normal time display.

Note: When in setting mode of any feature, all the rest of the information of the LCD would disappear, only concentrate in the setting of the feature.

FAHRENHEIT/CELSIUS

Press the -/ºC/ºF button to select Fahrenheit or Celsius temperature display.

SET TIME ALARM

  1. Hold the ALARM button to enter alarm time set mode.
  2. To adjust ALARM TIME press the + or -/ºC/ºF buttons.
  3. Press the ALARM button to confirm adjustments and move to the next item.

Alarm Time setting order: 1. Hours, 2. Minutes

ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE TIME ALARM

  • Press the ALARM button once to view alarm time.

  • Press the ALARM button again to activate the alarm. Once activated the bell icon appears.

  • Press the ALARM button again to deactivate the alarm. The bell icon will disappear.

SNOOZE (SILENCES ALARM TEMPORARILY)

  • When alarm sounds, press the LIGHT/SNOOZE button to silence the alarm for 10 minutes.
  • The alarm icon will flash.
  • In snooze mode, press any button to stop alarm for one day.

Note: The alarm is crescendo sound. The alarm will sound for 2 minutes and then shut off completely.

ADJUST BACKLIGHT

When using A/C power:

  • Press the LIGHT HI/LO button to adjust the backlight brightness.
  • Hold the HOLD ON/OFF button and the backlight will turn off completely. Hold again to turn on the backlight.

When using Battery power only:

  • Press the LIGHT HI/LO button for 8 second backlight.

FORECAST ICONS

The forecast station uses changing atmospheric pressure to predict weather conditions for the next 12-hours with 70-75% accuracy.

NTELLIGENT WEATHER FORECAST

This station learns. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for barometric calibration. This will ensure an accurate personal forecast for your location.

HEAT INDEX/DEW POINT

  • Press the HEAT/DEW button once to view Heat Index.
  • Press the HEAT/DEW button twice to view Dew Point.

VIEW/RESET MIN/MAX VALUES

The station automatically resets minimum and maximum values daily at midnight(0:00).

  • Press the MIN/MAX button to view maximum values.
  • Hold the MIN/MAX button to reset maximum values.
  • Press the MIN/MAX button to view minimum values.
  • Hold the MIN/MAX button to reset minimum values.

CHANNEL SCROLL-AUTO

The word AUTO will appear in the outdoor temperature/humidity area when multiple sensors are received and the forecast station is set to scroll through the channels automatically.

  • Press the CH button repeatedly until AUTO is displayed. The forecast station will rotate through all available channels.
  • Press the CH button once to display only one channel continually.

Note: When only one sensor is connected, you may not see other channels.

The forecast station can receive up to 3 outdoor sensors: TX141THBCHv3

  • Select a separate channel on each outdoor sensor.
  • Install batteries in all the sensors.
  • Hold the CH button for 5 seconds and the forecast station will search for all outdoor sensors.
  • Press the TX button once on each sensor to send a signal.

POSITION OUTDOOR SENSOR

  • Mount the outdoor sensor on a north-facing wall or in any well shaded area. Under an eave or deck rail is preferred.
  • The maximum transmitting range to the forecast station is over 90 meters (300 feet) in open air, not including walls.

POSITION THE FORECAST STATION

The forecast station has a wide base to sit on a desk or table.

  • Choose a location 2 meters or more from electronics such as cordless phones, gaming systems, televisions, microwaves, routers etc.
  • Place within range of the outdoor sensor.
  • The maximum transmitting range in open air is 90 meters (300 feet). Obstacles such as walls, windows, stucco, concrete and large metal objects can reduce the range.

LOW BATTERY ICON

Low battery icon indicates low battery for station or sensor.

  • If the icon is displayed in Outdoor Temperature section, replace batteries in the outdoor sensor.

  • If the icon is displayed in Indoor Temperature section, replace batteries in the Forecast Station.

Do not use the device:
