SIEMENS MSR-1 Rail Kit
Installation Instructions
MODEL MSR-1 Kit
Use the Model MSR-1 kit from Siemens Industry, Inc., to mount an EL-410D
assembly in an MME-3 or MLE-6 enclosure. One MSR-1 kit is required for
mounting each EL-410D assembly (Refer to Figures 1-4). The MSR-1 kit contains
the following items:
- 4 washers
- 4 nuts
- 1 “Z” mounting bracket
- 1 “U” mounting bracket

NOTES:
- 1, 2, or 3 EL-401D amplifiers can be installed in an MME-3 enclosure.
- Install amplifier mounting brackets as shown in Figure 1 using hardware supplied with an MSR-1 kit. Be sure to note the orientation of the mounting flange.
- When EL-401D amplifiers are installed in an MME-3 enclosure, two Model MDG-1 louver vent door inserts must be installed in the outer door.

NOTES:
- Up to five EL-401D amplifiers can be installed in an MLE-6 enclosure. MXL modules other than the EL-410D amplifiers can also be installed in an MLE-6 enclosure using either an MBR-MP or MBR-3MP mounting plate (See Figures 3 and 4).
- Install amplifier mounting brackets as shown in Figures 2, 3, and 4 using hardware supplied with an MSR-1 kit. Be sure to note the orientation of the mounting flange.
- Installing mounting brackets in accordance with these instructions will result in unused “Z” brackets.
- When EL-401D amplifiers are installed in an MLE-6 enclosure, three Model MDG-1 louver vent door inserts must be installed in the outer door.
