Thank you for purchasing CLEANLIFE® LED Light Fixtures.
WARNINGS:
Turn power off before installation, inspection, or removal.
Use all necessary precautions while performing this procedure.
RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK. For 120V 60Hz use only. Consult a qualified
electrician
to ensure correct branch circuit conductor. Min 90ºC supply conductors.

It may be understood that common sense, cautions and care are factors that cannot be built into any product. The responsible, installing, and operating person(s) for the light fixture, must execute these factors.
This fixture is suitable for dry or damp locations only. NOT for use in wet locations.
GENERAL: All electrical connections must be in accordance with local and National
Electrical Code (N .E .C.) standards . If you a re unfamiliar with proper
electrical wiring
connections, contact and obtain the services o f a qualified electrician. Use
UL or IEC
approved wire only for input/output connections.
Remove fixture and mounting components from the box, and make sure that no
parts
are missing by referencing the illustration in the installation instructions.
DIMMING: This product is compatible with most common residential type
dimmers.
Dimming performance will depend upon dimmer, dimmer settings (dimmers with
adjustments to brightness range), wiring method, and number of LED modules.
For best results, set dimmer position at maximum before adjusting to a lower
light level.
IMPORTANT: This trim kit comes a WARNING LABEL that must be placed in the
recess can being converted with this LED unit. Place the label on a clean
surface where it is easily
visible to the person re-lamping or servicing the recess can. This label is
required for this
unit to comply with UL requirements.
INSTALLATION:

PRIOR TO INSTALLATION: Install this Downlight Retrofit Kit into a housing that has dimensions shown on Figure 1.

SHUT OFF MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FROM THE MAIN FUSE BOX/CIRCUIT BREAKER!

Remove contents from box. Ensure that no parts are missing. Reference the illustrations included with this instruction manual.

To remove socket bracket from can, unscrew the wing 4. nut inside the can.

Press on the two spring clips on the socket to disengage the socket from the socket bracket.

Thread the socket adapter into the socket. Reference Figure 2. Connect the plug from the Downlight Retrofit unit to the socket adapter plug. Reference Figure 2.

HARDWIRE OPTION ONLY: Remove the socket adapter portion from the socket adapter plug, and remove the socket quick connect from the can. Reference Figure 2, option for both. Next, make the wiring connections, and secure with wire nuts (not included).
7B. Apply pressure to the torsion springs on the Downlight Retrofit unit to lock them into the can spring bracket. (Two on one side, two on the other side, as shown by the arrows in Figure 3.) -
Carefully tuck all wires into the can. Push Downlight Retrofit unit into can until the trim of the Downlight Retrofit is flush with the ceiling. Reference Figures 3 & 4.

Restore power at fuse box/circuit breaker. Check operation of Integrated LED Fixture.

Installation complete.

Download the CleanLife Smart App from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Connect your lighting device with the CleanLife Smart App.
NOTE: If you are having issues pairing your lighting device, please try power cycling your Wi-Fi router. Unplug the router for 20-30 seconds and then plug it back in. Wait for your Wi-Fi to begin broadcasting again, then try to pair/use your smart lighting device. -
Connect your lighting device to your smart assistant.

TROUBLESHOOTING:
- Check that line voltage at fixture is correct.
- Ensure that there is voltage at light fixture wires. If there is no voltage, then check all connections.
- Check that fixture is grounded properly. If fixture does not light:
- Check switch to ensure that there are no defects.
- Check fuse/circuit breaker for trips, then check wiring connections.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE:
CAUTION: Ensure fixture temperature is cool enough to touch.
DO NOT clean or perform maintenance while fixture is energized.
- Clean lens and light fixture with non-abrasive cleaning solution.
- Do not open fixture to clean LED. Do not touch the LED.
- Do not spray liquid directly on to LED, LED driver or wiring.
5-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY:
LIMITED WARRANTY: CLEANLIFE® LED Light Fixtures are warranted to be free and clear of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five years from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in manufacturing discovered while using the product as recommended by the manufacturer and does not apply to failures caused by acts of God or as a result of any abuse, misuse, abnormal use, or use in violation of any applicable standard, code, or instructions for use in installations. If a CLEANLIFE® LED Light Fixture fails due to a defect covered by this warranty, CLEANLIFE® will, at its option, either replace the product or provide a credit equal to the current price CLEANLIFE® charges for the product. To make a warranty claim, retain the failed products and notify a CLEANLIFE® sales representative in writing within thirty (30) days of the failure.
