The MADISON PRE-LIT MAILBOX SWAG 36 INCH is a decorative swag that can be placed on your mailbox. It comes with a strap to secure it in place. The swag is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Battery Warning:
- Adult supervision is necessary when changing and disposing of batteries.
- Slide switch to “OFF” position when changing batteries.
- Confirm proper polarity when inserting batteries.
- Do not attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries. Only recharge rechargeable batteries and do it under adult supervision.
- Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
- Replace batteries when the light is faint.
- Replace all batteries at the same time.
- Remove exhausted/dead batteries from unit.
- Do not short circuit terminals under any circumstances.
- Do not allow the bottom of the unit to come in contact with heat.
- Never throw batteries in a fire or attempt to open batteries. Batteries may explode or leak.
- Remove all batteries from unit before storage.
- Batteries are harmful if swallowed. Keep away from young children.

Product Usage Instructions:
- Locate the MADISON PRE-LIT MAILBOX SWAG 36 INCH and remove it from its packaging.
- Place the swag on your mailbox in the desired position.
- Use the strap provided to secure the swag in place.
- If the swag comes with pre-installed batteries, ensure that the slide switch is in the OFF position before proceeding.
- If you need to change the batteries, ensure that an adult is present to supervise the process.
- Slide the switch to the OFF position and confirm the proper polarity of the batteries before inserting them into the swag.
- If you need to recharge rechargeable batteries, do it under adult supervision.
- Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.

Intallation
- Place the mailbox swag on a flat surface. Straighten and separate all branch tips. To achieve maximum fullness, tips should not touch one another. To shape the bow, slip fingers into the loop molding the loop into a rounded shape.
- From back of the mailbox swag, find the battery box and open it, insert 3 AA batteries into the battery box, then close the battery box.
- Each battery box is featured with a 3-position switch: On – Off – Timer. The timer enables the LED lights to remain on for 6 hours, then off for the next 18 hours. This will repeat daily.
- Put swag on your mailbox and use the strap to secure. Suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
