TRU Ball AVX AccuTouch Plus Picatinny Slider Sight
AVXSTUPE NSTRUCTIONS
FOR RING PIN ONLY- Starting with the back of the scope, slide the Ring Pin over scope housing. Align pin with the desired slot in housing and install with the fiber optic facing the tront of the scope (closest fo your eye). Next insfall Ring Pin Refainer and fighfen down snug.
FOR LENS ONLY- Stating with the back of the scope, slide the External Spacer over SCope housing. Next install Ring Pin Retainer and fighten down snug. Drop Lens Spacer into back of scope housing first, followed by the Lens with the convex Curvature oufward toward the farget. Next install Lens Refainer and tighten down snUg onto Lens.
FOR RING PIN & LENS-Sfarting with the back of fhe scope, slide fhe Ring Pin over scope housing. Align pin with the desired slof in housing and install with the fiber optic facing the front of the scope (closest fo your eye. Next insfall Ring Pin Refainer and ignren down snug. Drop Lens Spacer into back of scope housing first, folowed by the Lens with the convex Curvafure oufward foward the target. Next insfall Lens Refainer and fighfen down snug onfo Lens.
ATTACHING RHEOSTAT The Plus Model Scopes will already have the Rheostat installed. For all other models simply remove the Ring Pin Retainer and Ring Pin. Snap the Rheostat Cover over the groOve on the front side of the Ring Pin (closest fo your eye). Re-install Ring Pin and Ring Pin Retainer.
ATTACHING SHADES & TORQUE INDICATOR-Sun Shades or the Torque Indicator can be installed & removed without affecting the rest of the setup. There are threads in fhe fronf of fhe scope HoUSing, in fhe back of fhe scope Housing, & in the báck of fhe Lens Refainer fhat will accept fhese accessories depending on where you choose fo use them.
SCOPE TO SIGHT CONNECTION – The “T” Connection that comes standard on the AVX SCOpe provides fwo poinfs of confact for a stronger more rigid connection that is easier to level. This connection is unique to AXCEL Sights and will work with all of our hunting & tournament sights. Included also is the #10-32 Stainless Steel thredded rod for Use wifh sights fhaf are not AXCEL° brand. If fhis mefhod will be Used, remove fhe “TConnection and the # |0-32 Set screw under the T Connection. Ihen insfall fhe #10-32 Ihreaded Rod info the cenfer hole of the Scope HUsing where the F 10-32 set screw was ar.
RH/LH COMPATIBILITY – The AVX Scope features an interchangeable Right Hand to Left Hand opfion so you don thave fo wory abouf ordering based on dexterify. Simply, sWifch the Level Vial and the Level Blank (it insfalled) by removing the flat head Screws that hold them in place. Ihen re-insfall fhem in fhe reverse order. To prevent cracking the Level Vial be sure not to overtighfen the screws. lf using a Ring Pin, the Ring Pin will also need fo be rofafed from boffom fo fop, or fo fhe desired location.
USING A SIGHT LIGHT-T he AVX Scope provides two different methods for a sight light to be used. Ihe “T” Connection features a small hole in the back where the fiber optic can be installed. When using a Ring Pin, pull out the fiber optic and fubing from one cip on the Ring Pin and insertif through the hole in the back of fhe “I Connecfion. A 3/8-32 Ihread Pifch Sight Light can be screwed info the end of the “T” Connection to provide lighf fo the end of the fiber. The AVX SCopes dalso feafure an angled sighf light hole fo be used for illuminafing a Dof Lens. When using a Dot Lens, install the sight light using the #8-32 threaded hole on fop of the SCope hoUSing fo iluminate the center of the Lens.
