Huazheng HZ-1024 Lubricating Oil Anti-foam Tester

Overview

The HZ-1024 lubricating oil anti-foam tester is designed and manufactured according to the national standard GB/T12579 and the American Society for Testing and Materials standard ASTM D892. It is suitable for measuring the foam tendency and foam stability of lubricating oil under specified conditions.

The HZ-1024 type lubricating oil anti-foam tester is mainly composed of high and low-temperature water tanks, power supply parts, air flow regulators, input refrigerators, air filters, diffusers and so on.

Operational Approach

  1. After unpacking the instrument, carefully remove the packaging, and check whether the instrument accessories are complete and free of damage against the instrument packing list.
    Note: If the instrument accessories are not complete or the accessories are damaged, please contact our company as soon as possible.

  2. Place the low-temperature bath and high-temperature bath on the left and right sides of the control box, and add an appropriate amount of medium; put the input refrigerator (cold head) into the low-temperature bath and fix it; connect the respective load plugs to their corresponding sockets.
    Note: The medium in the constant temperature bath must be higher than the heating tube to avoid dry heating of the heating tube.

  3. Insert the measuring cylinder containing the sample into the measuring cylinder fixture and fix it, then plug the rubber plug with the foam head rod and the measuring cylinder tightly, and connect the four air nozzles on the control box with the foam head rods respectively.

  4. Turn on the power switch and the stirring switch, and then turn on the switch of the input refrigerator and the gas source switch. When the temperature reaches the set temperature point, perform the test according to the standard requirements. The valve can be adjusted to control the gas flow by adjusting the four flow meters.

  5. After the test is over, the switch of the input refrigerator and the air source switch should be cut off, and then the main engine stirring and power switch should be cut off.

Use of temperature control meter

After the instrument is powered on, the upper digital tube of the digital display temperature control meter displays the main control temperature measurement value, and the lower digital tube displays the main control set value.

  • If the upper row shows OVER, it means the sensor is open or the input signal exceeds the measurement range.

  • Set value change method Press the key, the upper row displays SP. Press the ▲ or ▼ key to make the lower row display the required value. Press again or go to standard mode.

  • Control parameter change method Press the key for more than 4 seconds, the upper row displays the prompt of the control parameter, and press the ▲ or ▼ key to make the lower row display the required value. Continue to press the key, the upper row will display the prompts of each parameter in turn, press the ▲ or ▼ key to make each control parameter the required value. Press the key for more than 4 seconds to return to the standard mode. (It will automatically return to the standard mode after 1 minute without key press)

  • The function parameters are shown in the table below

  • Do not press the button for more than 4 seconds to enter the standard mode, and it will automatically return within 1 minute. Some function parameters may not be changed.

Self-tuning function of digital display temperature control meter

  • After pressing the ▲ key for 8 seconds, the AT light flashes, and the meter starts auto-tuning. After the auto-tuning is finished, the AT light goes out to obtain a set of PID parameters with a faster temperature rise. The meter controls according to the new PID parameters.
  • After pressing the ▼ key for 8 seconds, the AT light flashes, and the instrument starts auto-tuning. After the auto-tuning is finished, the AT light goes out, and a set of PID parameters that can overcome the over-temperature is obtained. The instrument controls according to the new PID parameters.
  • The new PID parameters can be checked on the instrument.
  • During the auto-tuning process, press the ▲ or ▼ key for 8 seconds and then the AT light will go out, the auto-tuning will be terminated, and the meter will control according to the original PID parameters.

Use of timer

When timing is needed, adjust the chronograph to the timing state and press the “timing” button. Timer operation: Turn on the “timing” button on the right side of the timer panel, and the screen displays numbers. Set the time period switch according to the time required for the test (the one with a horizontal line under the English letter is the countdown time period switch, such as S, h, etc.). Press the “timing” button on the right side of the panel, the timing is cleared, and there is no display on the screen; press it again, the button pops up and the timing starts. After the timing is over, the buzzer will alarm.

Fault analysis and Troubleshooting

Under normal circumstances, turn on the power switch, the power indicator light is on, and after starting up, if the above process is found to be abnormal, it can be analyzed and handled according to the following situations:

Precautions

  1. The instrument should be placed in a ventilated and dry place. Keep the instrument clean. Pay attention that the electric control part should not enter water or get wet.
  2. The ground wire should be connected before use, and often check whether the grounding is good.
  3. When installing, pay special attention to handle with care to prevent collision.
  4. Never energize when there is no medium in the bath.
  5. The tilt of the drop-in refrigerator should not be greater than 45 degrees.
  6. It is strictly forbidden to start the input refrigerator frequently. It must be turned on again after 30 minutes after each shutdown.
  7. Since the refrigerator and the cold head are connected by a stainless steel hose, there is an insulation tube on the outer jacket of the hose. Please pay attention when unpacking and installing: do not push, pull, squeeze or forcibly twist the hose, and it is strictly prohibited to hit the evaporator to avoid refrigerant leakage. The minimum bending radius of the hose shall not be less than 100 mm.
  8. When the instrument breaks down, you should ask experienced professionals to repair it or notify our company, and do not disassemble it at will.
  9. The warranty period of this instrument is one year.
