Quick Start Guide
Model: STR-TLW10W
Let’s get your new 10 kg top load washing machine ready to use!
Installing the machine
CAUTION! This washing machine is very heavy – transport it with care! A
team lift or mechanical aid is required when moving it.
This washing machine must be installed by a competent person. Installation
involves installing the bottom cover, leveling the machine, connecting it to
your cold and hot water taps, and installing the drain hose. Please refer to
pages 9–15 in the instruction manual for comprehensive instructions.
NOTE: Before using the washing machine for the first time, run a complete
cycle without laundry items and detergent on the QUICK program following the
instructions on page 20 in the manual.
Preparation
- Plug in the machine.
- Open your water taps.
- Load your washing into the machine — page 17 in the instruction manual has useful hints to help you with this.
- Add detergent to the detergent drawer — find all the details on page 19 in the instruction manual. Close the lid.
**Washing

- Press the Power button.
- Select a program – they are listed overleaf and also on page 18 in the instruction manual.
- Press the Water Level button and select a water level appropriate for your wash load – refer to page 19 in the manual for the details.
- Make sure the lid is closed, then press the Start/Pause button to start the program. Start/Pause Power

- The machine will beep at the end of the wash. Open the lid and take your washing out of the tub. The machine will switch off automatically.
- Remove the power plug from the wall outlet.
- Close the water taps.
- We recommend you leave the lid open so the tub can dry properly and prevent mold and odor development.
Wash programs
The washing machine is equipped with 8 programs, 10 water levels, electronic
controls, and an automatic sensor for the automatic default wash
program.
- POWER: Press this button to turn on the power to the machine, or to set it to standby. After powering on, if you do not press the START button within 5 minutes, the machine will automatically power off.
- PROGRAM: Press this button, repeatedly, to select the required washing program: 01-Auto, 02-Custom, 03-Bulky, 04-Gentle, 05-Eco, 06-Quick, 07-Spin, 08-Tub Clean. The respective program number will be displayed.
- WATER LEVEL: Press this button, repeatedly, to select the required water level appropriate for the amount of washing in the tub. The respective water level number (1–10) will be displayed.
- START/PAUSE: Press this button to start or pause the washing machine.
- CHILD LOCK: Press the WATER LEVEL and PROGRAM buttons at the same time and hold for 1.5 seconds to activate the child lock. When the buzzer sounds, all buttons will be locked. Repeat the action to release the child lock.
