STIRLING STR-H419WFF French Door Fridge with Water Dispenser

Installation

CAUTION! This appliance is heavy – transport it with care! To avoid back or other injury, we recommend you ask someone for help or use a mechanical aid when moving it.

  1. Before you start installing your new French Door Fridge, wipe the interior and accessories with a damp cloth with a little mild detergent to remove any dust from transit and storage. Dry thoroughly.
  2. The fridge is designed for freestanding use. The floor must be strong, sturdy and level — adjust the levelling feet, if necessary. Avoid areas where the fridge would be exposed to direct sunlight, heat, extremely cold ambient temperatures or excessive moisture and high humidity. Installing it in the coolest area of the room will save energy consumption and running costs.
  3. Leave enough space to access and open the doors and drawers. Allow at least 100 mm clear space at the back of the appliance and 100 mm at the top so air can circulate freely around the fridge. Also ensure it is placed at least 500 mm from heat sources and at least 50 mm from electric ovens.
  4. Before plugging in your new fridge, let it stand upright for at least 2 hours. This will allow the refrigerant gases to settle into the compressor and reduce the possibility of a malfunction.
For detailed installation instructions, please consult the manual.

Have a look inside!

The refrigerator compartment is suitable for short-term storage of all your fresh food. You can adjust the position of the glass shelves to suit your storage requirements.
Use the crisper and chiller drawers to keep your fruit and vegetables fresh.
The door balconies on both fridge doors offer ample storage space for condiments, spreads and drink containers of different size.
A water dispenser in the left fridge door enables you to get a glass of water any time without opening the fridge door. To fill it, remove the top door balcony first, then fill the tank with up to 3 L of potable (drinking) water.
The slide-out trays and drawers in the freezer compartment are designed for long-term storage (up to three months) of frozen food.
