POTTER OSYSU Series Outside Screw and Yoke Valve Supervisory
OSYSU Models
Potter has improved upon the already great OSYSU to make it even easier to install. It now contains visual indicators that show the status of the switch. The white visual indicator is visible through the window on the back of the switch actuator and helps guide the installer to ensure easy and precise installation. The mounting bracket is serrated to provide a more secure fit to the valve yoke. There is also an improved adjustment feature on the OSYSU that eliminates the need to loosen or remove the mounting hardware after initial installation in order to make fine adjustments.
OSYSU-EX
The Model OSYS-U-EX is designed to supervise the open condition of an OS & Y
type gate valve in hazardous locations. It features a UL listed explosion
proof switch enclosure.
OSYSU-EX-O
The OSYSU-EX-O is designed for outdoor use to supervise the position of an OS
& Y type gate valve in hazardous locations. It features a weatherproof, UL
listed explosion proof switch enclosure.
OSYSU-CRH
The OSYSU-CRH provides additional corrosion protection on top of the NEMA 4X
enclosure with corrosion resistant mounting hardware.

PCVS Models
The Model PCVS is a weather proof and tamper resistant switch for monitoring the open position of fire sprinkler control valves of the post indicator, butterfly and other types. Two SPDT (Form C) contacts are provided which will operate when the valve position is altered from an open state. The new PCVS includes more room for wiring and easier to read wire terminal designations.
PIVS-EX The PIVS-EX is designed to supervise the position of a Post Indicator or Butterfly valve in hazardous locations. This device features a UL listed explosion proof switch enclosure.
PCVS-CRH The PCVS-CRH provides additional corrosion protection on top of the NEMA 4X enclosure with corrosion resistant mounting hardware.
