BEFORE YOU BEGIN

To install the LED 2-pin plug-in lamps, please read the entire installation guide carefully

The product is not intended to be used with dimmers and emergency fixtures. The LED 2-pin lamp is not suitable for direct connection to the mains. Bypassing the original ballast will result in safety and regulation issues. The existing power factor compensation capacitors worsen the power factor, but may remain in the circuit. Furthermore, it should be taken into consideration the maximum LED 2-pin lamps connected to one circuit breaker according to its technical specification.
WARNING: Risk of Fire or Electric Shock. Suitable for Dry and Damp Locations. The installation must be done by qualified electricians and all safety instructions must be followed to avoid a risk of injury or property damage

  1. Switch off power to the fixture.

  2. Remove the existing fluorescent lamps from the fixture and dispose of them properly based on local regulations.

  3. For Selectable lamps only: Adjust color temperature switch on lamp to desired setting

  4. Check the socket condition in the fixture. If damaged or corroded, replace it with a new one. Insert Current LED 2-pin lamps. For G24d horizontal application, rotate the lamp so the diffuser is facing towards the fixture opening. Warning: Sockets in poor condition may result in bad electrical contact, base arcing or other safety issues.
Note: In two lamps condition, be sure to use Current LED 2-pin lamps in both sockets. Do not use one CFL and one LED lamp together on the same ballast.

  5. Restore power to fixture and check for proper operation.

Note: If the lamp flickers, flashes or fails on installation, the ballast is not compatible with the lamp. Remove the lamp and check the ballast compatibility list again or contact Current for technical support at 1-800-327-0097.
