**** Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage or physical injury:

  • Please read this manual carefully and use the device only according to this manual.
  • Dispose of used packaging material carefully or store it out of the reach of children. There is a danger of suffocation!
  • Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to use the device, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a qualified person.
  • For safety reasons, children under 16 as well as persons not familiar with these operating instructions must not use the pressure sprayer.
  • Keep the pressure sprayer out of the reach of small children.
  • While operating the unit, keep people and animals away. Do not spray towards persons or animals.
  • The pressure sprayer is intended for distributing solvent-free liquid pesticides, herbicides, fertilisers, window cleaners, and car wax in domestic gardens and backyards.
  • It is not allowed to use the pressure sprayer in public places, parks, sport arenas, or in agriculture or forestry.
  • In accordance with the laws governing the use of pesticides and detergents, only authorised substances in authorised specialist shops may be used. It is recommended using pesticides approved by the BBA (German Federal Biological Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry) only.
  • Do not spray acids, disinfectants or impregnators, aggressive and solventcontaining cleaning agents, petrol or spray oil with this pressure sprayer.
  • When spraying plant protection products (insecticides, herbicides and fungicides), always wear protective equipment according to the directions of the manufacturer of the chemicals and follow their guidelines.
  • Never open the pressure sprayer or unscrew the nozzle when the pressure sprayer is still under pressure.
  • First place the pressure sprayer vertically and then release the pressure completely by pulling out the safety valve (2).
  • Do not use the pressure sprayer in high winds.
  • Do not expose the pressure sprayer to extreme heat.
  • The pressure sprayer does not contain parts serviceable by you. Do not disassemble it and do not attempt to repair it yourself.
  • Store the sprayer in a dry and frost-free room. Remaining liquid in the unit can cause damages.

OPERATION

Before first Use
Take the sprayer out of the packaging and remove all packaging materials.
Store them in a safe place or dispose of them carefully; the plastic bags might become deadly toys for small children.
According to factory-made functional tests, residual humidity can remain in the unit. Residual humidity in a new article is not a fault.
Operation

  1. To fill the tank, unscrew the handle and remove it. Before first use, test the pressure sprayer with clear water.

  2. Mix concentrates in a separate measuring cup prior to fill into the tank. Add the necessary amount of water and make sure not to overfill the tank. Be careful while mixing, pouring and handling chemicals. The tank capacity is 5 litres.
Make sure the mixture is completely dissolved and there are no dirt particles or clumps. If so, the suction tube (8) and the nozzle (11) and the strainer (12) inside the tank might become blocked.

  3. Before operating the sprayer, make sure the handle is securely screwed on.

  4. Assemble the lance and the extension together. First adjust the length of the lance according to application and then re-tighten both parts together by using the screw cap.

  5. Unlock the handle by turning counter clockwise and lift up. Start pumping with the handle until you feel resistance.

  6. Lock the handle in place and hold the pressure sprayer while spraying by the handle or put the shoulder belt (3) on your shoulder.

  7. If the push button (7) is locked, first pull the push button back to unlock it. Now push down the button to spray the liquid.

First press the button down and then push it forwards up to the end to lock the button in place.
Now the push button is locked and you do not need to hold the push button for spraying.

  8. For adjusting the nozzle (11), turn the nozzle clockwise resp. counter clockwise, depending on the desired spray pattern.

Hints:

  • Check the pressure sprayer before each use visually for any damages and do not use the unit if obvious defects exist.
  • Do not leave the pressure sprayer unattended for long time when full and under pressure.

Cleaning and Storing

  • After each use clean the sprayer and all components with clear water and mild detergent. By doing this you will avoid chemical reactions by using different fluids.
  • Fill the tank with clear water and operate the sprayer until clear water is coming out from the nozzle. Do not use aggressive chemicals or abrasives to clean the unit.
  • Always store the sprayer in a dry and frost-free room. Remaining water in the unit can cause damages.
  • Leave the pressure sprayer open when storing.
  • Do not dispose of residual liquids in the sewerage system.
  • Do not disassemble it and do not attempt to repair it yourself. In case of questions or problems, please contact our customer support department.
