Please make sure the camera screw is fully tightened before attaching the head.

Step 1) Make sure screw size (3/8″ or 1/4″) is chosen to match your camera head.
Step 2) Move the anti-shock ring “C” down and make sure the 3 set screws “B” are not interfering.
Step 3) Connect the tripod and head by turning the head clockwise until tight.

OTIGHTENING A LOOSE LEG
If the leg becomes loose after using for a period of time, use a 4mrn alien key to tighten the leg angle locking bolt “T” until the desired tension is obtained. Turn it clockwise to tighten, counterclockwise to loosen.

LEG ANGLE ADJUSTMENT

To adjust the height of each leg, release the twist lock “O” and extend or retract the telescopic leg to the desired length. Begin at the top and work your way down to obtain desired height . Extending & using the larger leg section first will make your tripod more stable (as shown in figure 8).
Step 1) Open the legs.
Step 2) Release the leg sections successively by unlocking “O”, the Advanced twist-lock 1/4 turn locklunlock system. Turn clockwise 1/4 turn until the unlock icon “N” is aligned with the twist lock line mark then extend leg section.
Step 3) Lock “O” by turning counterclockwise until the lock icon “N” is aligned with the twist lock line mark and make sure it is fully tightened. When tightening it is not uncommon to sometimes pass the mark for locking the tripod leg.
Step 4) Proceed the same way for the two other legs and make sure all locks “0” are tightened to avoid an unstable tripod or equipment damage.
The tripod can be set in a leveled position thanks to the spirit level “R” positioned on the side of the top spider casting/canopy.
