Thank you for purchasing this Rokuhan product. This is precision product.
Please read this instruction manual carefully before operation and operate properly.

• Please operate this model with a Rokuhan controller.
• Keep clean track surface (Metal rails) before operation.
• Remove dirt and dust from wheels.
• Do NOT operate continuously over a long time.
• Do NOT suddenly change train direction. Stop train first then, change direction.
• In case of derailment or short circuit, turn off the controller and unplug AC adapter, then eliminate cause of problem.
• Disassembling and modify (modification) could cause damage to this product.
• Storing this product in direct sunlight or fluorescent light for a long time could cause discoloration.
• Keep this product away humidity, dust and heating devices.
• Do NOT operate this product in wet place or touch with wet hands.
• To avoid injury with sharp parts. Please handle with care.
• To avoid injury by using tools. Please handle with care.
• This product is NOT recommended that children under 15 years old use unless supervised by anadult.
• Keep train cars in Poly bag to avoid damage after using.

Accoessories

How to handle accessories

3-1 Pantograp Related cars: €/\ 484-315
© Lift-up top part softly by thinner rod o r needle until stop. (See Figure 1)

Please adjust the position as shown.

• Pantograph will be broken if pulled up too hard.

(2) Push down top part slowly with thin rod or needle until stop. (See Figure 2 )

Please adjust this position as shown.

• Pantograph will be broken if pushed down too hard.

3—2 Switch off head/tail lights

Please check the bottom chassis to move the slide switch to the off position. (See Figure 3)

3—3 How to change Head mark
Related cars: 7/\ 481
Please cut out the Head mark from Runner B.

Turn upside down and remove chassis from body shell to diagonally upward. (See Figure 4 )| Push head mark inside by rod or needle from outside. (See Figure 5)
Take o u t original headmark by tweezers or suitable tools. Set new headmark in reverse order and push in until seated. (See Figure 6)| Push head mark inside by rod or needle from outside.

How to set parts

4—1 Set Antenna C on T030-4
Please set Antena C into the hole. (See Figure 8)

How to install antenna

This process is for expert users who understand this model well. Please be careful to handle tools to avoid injury and work carefully. Also, DIA 1.0mm drill and tweezers are necessary to set small antenna.

This product has no hole for wireless o r telephone antenna. If you like to set antenna for your preference, please follow this instruction as below.

5—1 Set AntennaA <2/\481>

1. Take off chassis from body shell of 77\481. Turn over body shell and watch inside. Please f i n d the hole mark, little step down, and make DIA1.0mm hole by drill blade. (See Figure 9)
2. Set antenna A part into the hole.
   (See Figure 10)

5—2 Set AntennaB <++0481>
Take out chassis from body shell of +0481. Turn over body shell and look inside.
Please find the hole mark, a little indent, and d rill DIA1.0mm hole in body.
(See Figure 11)

How to apply Instant lettering (For advanced modeler)

You can change the T030-2 “HIBARI Extension set”(sold separately) car number using the included instant lettering.
Remove dirt and dust on the surface to be applied, and then position the instant lettering.
After positioning, lightly rub the instant lettering, transcribe i t and then apply it. (See Figure 13)

Formation

Please set “RAICHO” full organization 12 cars by TO030-2 (sold separately).

Lighting accessories (sold separately)

8—1 Lighting accessories
This lighting accessories can use in all cars. <Either A009 or A030 can be used> Please read each instruction manual included with each lighting parts.
8—2 DCC Decorder
Trim a part of OCC decorder to fit, trim with nippers to install in every type of car with A059, DCC DECODER MULTIPUL TYPE (See figure 15). Please read included instruction manual of A059 for more information.

• Please open car as shown when installing room light or decoder (See figure16). Related cars: 7/\481
• After installing room light, o r decoder, turn chassis upside down t o install in body a s shown.

Troubleshooting

Check followings before ordering repair.

Remove the dirt with clearner and cloth.
There is dirt on wheels.| Remove the dirt with clearner and cloth.
Trains do not run.| A train derails.| Set the train properly on track using rerailer.
