CCH 012 Electric Heating Pad

Dear customer, thank you for purchasing our product. Please read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep these instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.

SAFETY WARNINGS

  • Consider the instructions in the user’s manual as a part of the appliance and provide it to other users of the appliance.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • Before cleaning or maintenance, turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains by pulling the power cord from the power socket!
  • Do not leave the appliance plugged in power supply without supervision!
  • If the power cord of the appliance is corrupted, it has to be replaced by the manufacturer, its service technician or a similarly qualified person so as to prevent dangerous situations.
  • Never use the appliance if its power cord or plug is damaged, if it does not work properly, if it fell down and was damaged and it is leaking. In this case take the appliance to a special service to check its safety and proper function.
  • CAUTION – Do not use the appliance with a program, time switch or any other part that turns the appliance on automatically as there is a risk of fire if the appliance is not covered or placed properly.
  • After finishing work and before cleaning, always switch off the appliance and disconnect it from power supply by taking the power cord connector out of the electric socket.
  • The product is intended for home use and similar (in shops, offices and similar workplaces, in hotels, motels and other residential environments, in facilities providing accommodation with breakfast). It is not intended for commercial use!
  • This appliance is not intended for outdoor use.
  • Do not use the appliance for heating of rooms!
  • It is not permissible to adjust the surface of the appliance in any way
  • Make sure the power supply meets the voltage marked on the label before power on the appliance.
  • Do not use the appliance if it is damp or wet.
  • A network of wires is inside the appliance. Avoid sharp angle bending. Damaged heating cable may cause fire or injury.
  • Do not immerse the controller (or any part of it) in water or other liquids!
  • The appliance must not be used while you sleep!
  • Do not lift and move the appliance by holding the controller cord.
  • The appliance is not deigned for uninterrupted use.
  • Don´t iron the heating waist belt. Avoid damage of heating conductor insulation.
  • This appliance has a heated surface. Persons insensitive to heat must be careful while using this appliance.
  • Too long application time may result in skin burns.
  • Use the heating waist belt according to your individual feelings. If you feel unpleasant, uncomfortable or if you feel pain, immediately interrupt using.
  • If you experience any health problems (for example oedemas or swellings), consult using the appliance with your physician.
  • Using of the product in a non-standard manner (i.e. folded or crumpled) can result in its overheating. If so, thermal protection will be activated and heating becomes inactive. Please don´t not try to repair the belt by yourselves, contact your technical service centre.
  • In order to prevent contingencies, make sure you follow the instructions below while using the product, otherwise our company will not bear responsibility.
  • Don´t fold the heating waist belt if switched on. Allow it to cool down before storage.
  • Don´t not use pins, avoid contact with sharp edges and hits against blunt objects. Don´t fix the belt using pins or other metallic objects.
  • To avoid body scald, do not let incapacitated person, infant and children and person insensitive to heat use the product.
  • Switching on the appliance with objects on its surface could result in its overheating.
  • The controller must not be covered with blanket, pillow etc. as long as the heating waist belt is on.
  • Don´t use the heating waist belt together with other warming devices (e.g. foot or bottle warmer), don´t use it for warming other objects.
  • Do not unplug the power plug by pulling the power cord.
  • Only use together with the electric switch of the product.
  • The product is not intended for use medical in hospitals.
  • Store the heated waist belt on a dry place, don´t put any objects on its surface to avoid wrinkling. Before use after long storage, check the appliance thoroughly. Don´t use the heating waist belt if its power supply cable has been damaged.
  • Under standard conditions, service life of the heating waist belt is 8 years. After expiration of this time, the manufacturer recommends to renew the appliance. The heating waist belt that has not been used appropriately or is defective should be repaired before further use.
  • Improperly used or damaged device should be repaired before further use.
  • If the appliance does not work, don´t try to repair it by yourselves. Send it to the technical service centre for checking and repair.
  • Do not set the controls for all night use.
  • The environment temperature should be no more than 40 degrees.
  • Use the heating waist belt only with the corresponding control unit (controller).
  • Never leave the vacuum cleaner exposed to weather conditions (rain, frost, direct sun radiation, etc.).
  • The power cord must not be damaged with sharp or hot objects, open fire, it must not be sunk into water or bent over sharp edges.
  • In order to ensure safety and proper function of the appliance, use only original spare parts and accessories approved by the manufacturer
  • Use this appliance only for the purpose for which it was designed as specified in this user‘s manual. Never use the appliance for any other purpose.
  • The producer does not guarantee any loss caused by improper handling of the appliance and its accessories (e. g. electrical accident, fire) and its guarantee for the appliance does not apply in the case of non–compliance with the safety instructions above.

CONTROLS DESCRIPTION

A – heating waist belt

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

Remove all packaging material, remove the appliance. Remove all adhesive foils, stickers or paper from the appliance..
CONTROL:
Switch ON/OFF (B2)

  • Press long (approx. 3 seconds) to switch on the appliance (acoustic signal will be issued);
  • Press long (approx. 3 seconds) again to switch off the appliance.

Note:
After turning on the appliance, “3” will appear on display B1.

  • set the temperature (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) by button B3
  • the temperature interval is 30 – 45 °C

Use:

  • Place the heating waist belt on the waist. Take care it is not folded/crumpled. Fix the heating waist belt using flexible strap with Velcro fastener. Waist circumference can be  adjusted from 50 to 100 cm.
  • Connect the appliance to mains.
  • Switch on the heating waist belt by pressing B2.
  • Press button B3 to set the required temperature level.
  • The heating waist belt can be switched off by long pressing button B2.

Remark:

• The heating waist belt features automatic switching off function (activated after approx.
90 minutes of operation).

MAINTENANCE

Disconnect controller B from the heating waist belt A. Wipe the controller B with a damp cloth.
The heating waist belt A is machine washable. However we recommend hand- washing to prolong the appliance service life. Never use any aggressive cleaning agents and industrial solvents for cleaning. After washing, hang it freely on a clothesline (no pegs) and allow it to dry.
Machine washing of the heating waist belt
Before washing, be sure the heating waist belt has not been damaged and is in good condition.

  1. Disconnect the connector from the heating waist belt. Be sure the controller and power cable have been removed.
  2. Put the heating waist belt into the washing machine as if washing clothes.
  3. After 10-15 minutes, switch off the washing machine and allow the heating waist belt to dry.
  4. Before connecting the connector with remote control box, be sure the appliance is dry.

Notes:

  • Make sure the washing machine is clean.
  • The temperature of the water in the washing machine should be in the range of 25 °C
  • 40 °C. Increased water temperature can result in damage of the heating waist belt. Recommended temterature is 30 °C.
  • Wash separate from all sharp objects that could damage the appliance.
  • Don´t use the heating waist belt if wet or damp.

  • Check whether the wall outlet is powered. You can use another electrical appliance to do so.
  • Make sure the power cord is not damaged.
