Make sure that the voltage written on your Arzum Kuppa Filter Coffee Machine is suitable for the voltage value of the area you are in. Our company cannot be held responsible for malfunctions caused by any voltage differences and therefore, this malfunction will be out of warranty.

This appliance is designed for use in the home and similar applications:
- Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other work environments;
- Farmhouses;
- By customers in hotels, motels and other residential-style settings;
- Bed and breakfast style environments.

This appliance must be used by persons who have been given information, supervision or instruction concerning its safe use and who understand the hazards involved. Your product must not be used by persons with physical (visual, auditory) or mental disabilities, children and persons lacking experience or knowledge without the supervision of a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised when using the product and it should be ensured that children do not play with the product. Keep the appliance and power cord out of the reach of children under 8 years of age.

Always plug your device into a grounded outlet. To prevent damage to your appliance, please do not use extension cables that do not provide enough current.

Do not place your Arzum Filter Coffee Machine on or next to heat sources such as a stove or other cooking appliances.

Place your appliance on a solid and level surface. Do not place on the edge of a table or countertop. A small impact can cause your appliance to fall down. Please note that your Filter Coffee Machine may be filled with hot water.

Make sure the cord does not dangle from your table or kitchen counter or contact any other appliance.

Please avoid actions that may damage the cord and plug of your appliance. Do not carry it by holding the cord, to unplug, hold at its plug; NEVER try to unplug it by pulling it from the cord.

Do not interfere with your appliance except for the purposes of cleaning and maintenance. If the cord or the plug of your appliance is out of order or damaged due to fall or any other reason, do not use the appliance. Do not repair it yourself, please contact Arzum Authorized Service. Take care to use only original spare parts on your appliance.

Unplug the appliance from the mains when not in use or when cleaning and make sure it has cooled down thoroughly before cleaning.

Protect your hands from the steam generated when the water boils and do not allow children to use it.

Make sure that the water reservoir and filter cover are ALWAYS closed before starting your Arzum Filter Coffee Machine.

NEVER immerse your appliance in water or any liquid, do not wash it in the dishwasher, do not use it in the bathroom or other places with high humidity.

You can add water and ground coffee when the appliance is switched off.

NEVER put anything other than water in the water tank of your appliance.
-
Never leave the power transmission base and the electrical terminals of your appliance wet. If it is wet, always unplug it from the socket before drying and do not operate the appliance until it is completely dry.

NEVER place anything other than ground coffee in the filter slot of your appliance.
-
Take care not to burn yourself with water or steam from the machine or by improper use of the machine.

The heating surface is hot due to residual heat after the appliance has been used, NEVER touch it
USE OF YOUR APPLIANCE
FIRST USE
Before first use, run the appliance 3 times with water only, without adding coffee.
OPERATION
-
Open the water tank cover on the back of the product and add water not exceeding the maximum level.
Add as much water to the water tank as the number of cups you will brew. The product will draw all the water in the water tank while making coffee. -
Open the filter housing of the product by pulling it to the right. Add ground coffee into the filter.

Use 1 scoop of coffee for 1 cup.

Close the filter housing.
-
Insert the glass carafe into the slot.
-
Plug the appliance into the socket.
-
Press the on/off switch and the coffee brewing process will start.
-
When the coffee brewing process is complete, you can serve your coffee in the glass carafe as you wish.

If you do not turn off your appliance, your glass carafe will remain warm on the warming surface
-
Switch the device off using the on/off switch.
-
Unplug the appliance from the socket.
The resulting brewed coffee will be 10% less than the filled water. This is because the coffee grains absorb some of the water
The light indicator on the switch shows that the filter coffee machine is
in operation. It is normal for some steam to escape from the appliance during
the coffee brewing process.
Wait a few minutes before preparing a second coffee.
HEATING BASE
Arzum Kuppa Filter Coffee Machine’s heating base allows you to keep your
coffee hot. Keeps your coffee hot for up to 40 minutes, provided you don’t
turn the machine off after the coffee is done brewing. After 40 minutes your
machine switches off automatically.
SAFETY SYSTEM
- • After the coffee has finished brewing, the heating base works for up to 40 minutes to keep the coffee warm, after which the appliance switches off automatically.
• Waterless Operation Protection: If your appliance operates without water, the thermostat is activated and turns off the machine by cutting the power. In such a case, unplug the appliance from the mains and allow the appliance to cool down completely
CLEANING
- • Before cleaning, always turn off the main switch (on/off switch) of your appliance, always unplug the plug from the socket and allow the appliance to cool down.
• You can hand wash the glass carafe, filter and filter housing of your Arzum Filter Coffee Machine. NEVER immerse other parts in water or wash in the dishwasher.
• Drain the water from the water tank. It is recommended to use fresh water for each use.
• Do not clean any accessories of your appliance using harsh and chemical cleaners (bleach, salt spirit, etc.).
REMOVING LIMESCALE
If the water in your area is hard, limescale will build up in your machine
over time and the lime deposits will prevent it from working well. Regular
descaling prolongs the lifetime of your appliance and ensures optimum coffee
brewing results over a long period of time. It is recommended to descale your
coffee machine every 50 uses. Follow the steps below to descale the device:
When descaling your appliance;

– You can use 2 cups of white vinegar,
– You can use a descaler suitable for your coffee machine.-
• Pour the mixture into the hopper and start the coffee machine (without coffee).
• Wait for a cup or so to pour into the carafe, then stop your coffee machine
• Wait two hours for it to take effect.
• Turn the coffee machine on again to complete the flow. -
Rinse your filter coffee machine with water 2 or 3 times before using coffee.

**Appliances that do not work or do not work properly due to calcification are not covered by the warranty.

HANDLING AND SHIPMENT
- During handling and shipment, your appliance must be kept in original package in order to prevent damages to its parts.
- Keep at normal position during shipment.
- Do not drop the product when transporting and protect from impacts.
- After delivery of the product, failures and damages that may occur while transporting are not covered by warranty.
