Introduction
Thank you for selecting GUARDIAN-100.
Key links and installation steps are provided here to enable you to develop
Azure Sphere applications that securely connect your equipment to the
internet.

STEP 1: Download Microsoft Azure Sphere SDK from:
aka.ms/Azure Sphere SDK -
STEP 2: Install Azure Sphere SDK on a Windows 10 computer, by following the detailed instructions located at:
avnet.me/ms_sphere_docs -
STEP 3: Connect the provided cables and power-up Guardian:
- Connect the Ethernet cable from Guardian to the equipment
- Connect USB cable type-A connector to the on-site equipment
- Connect USB cable type-B connector to Guardian
- Once connected, the Guardian LEDs should indicate as follows:
1, 2, 3 LEDs: Amber
Power LED: Green

STEP 4: Complete the Microsoft installation instructions to:
- Set up an Azure Sphere account (and subscribe to notifications)
- Claim your device
- Configure Wi-Fi settings of your device

STEP 5: View documentation and download example applications for the Guardian-100 from:

ISED Radiation Exposure Statement
To comply with ISED Canada RF exposure limits for general
population/uncontrolled exposure, the antenna(s) used for this transmitter
must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20 cm from all
persons and must not be operating in conjunction with any other antenna or
transmitter.
WARNING: Changes or modifications not expressly approved by Avnet could
void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
