Switch Bot Meter SMS Thermometer and Hygrometer User Manual

Name of Parts

How to Install

Install 2 AAA batteries into the battery box.
For non-metal surfaces, stick the metal side of the device sticker to a surface. Then place this device on it.

Download the Switch Bot app.
Open Switch Bot app and register for a Switch Bot account or sign in directly if you have an account. Then add Meter to your account.

Change the Temperature Unit

Press the button on the back of Meter once to change the temperature unit on the physical display.

Reset the Device

Hold the button on the back of Meter for 15 seconds.

Setting Alert

You could set up temperature/humidity alert with Meter and it will send notifications to your phone via Bluetooth.

If you are using an Android phone, a SwicthBot Hub Plus/Mini is required to use this feature. Learn more at:

Scene

If you have a Switch Bot Hub Plus/Mini (sold separately), you could create automations or scenes with Meter. You could turn on/off Switch Bot devices and home appliances triggered by temperature/humidity thresholds.

Voice Control

If you have a SwitchBot Hub Plus/Mini (sold separately), you could get current temperature or humidity using voice commands with Alexa, Google Assistant, Siri or more.
Enable Cloud Services first before using voice control services.

Works with IFTTT

If you have a Switch Bot Hub Plus/Mini (sold separately), you could turn on/off Switch Bot devices and home appliances triggered by temperature/humidity thresholds using IFTTT. You could also use other smart routines such as sun rise and sun set time to control your appliances. Learn more at:

History Data

On Meter’s History page, you could review temperature and humidity data on the interactive graphs. Tap a point on the graph to see data at a specific moment.

Export the Data

On the Meter History page, tap Export Data under the graphs to save data in the .csv format.
Note: On the Settings page, turn off Meter’s Cloud Services for more up to-date data.
