  1. Power LED: Turn blue when power on
    Status LED: Light off when no connection
    Slow flash when no video data
    Steady on when video is transmitting
    ARC LED: Turn on when ARC is transmitting

  2. IR in: Connect with IR receiver extension cable, please make sure the remote control used is within the effective range
    IR out: Connect with IR blaster extension cable, please get closer to the source device while using

  3. ARC out: Connect to speaker or AV receiver

  4. RS-232: Connect to Terminal block

  5. Micro USB: For firmware upgrade

  6. Reset BUTTON: Press to restart the device

  7. RJ-45: Connect to Receiver with Cat6 cable

  8. HDMI INTPUT: Connect to HDMI source

  9. HDMI OUTPUT: Connect to HDMI display

IR cable

EDID Auto Balance

  • The extender will auto-learning connected display’s EDID from RX, for resolution & audio output channel
  • If TX loop-out also connected display, the extender will use the smaller display EDID of two displays

For example:

  1. Two displays are 4K@60Hz 2 audio channels & 1080p@60Hz 5.1 audio channels, the extender will use 1080p@60Hz 2 audio channels EDID for Two displays.
    Output resolution will be 1080p@60Hz
    Audio output will be 2 channels

  2. Two displays are 4K@60Hz 7.1 audio channels, the extender will use 4K@60Hz 7.1 audio channels EDID for Two displays.
    Output resolution will be 4K@60Hz
    Audio output will be 7.1 channels

ARC via Tosi ink of Transmitter

  • Do not support back to HDMI port of Transmitter
  • ARC has to connect to ARC port of TV and enable
  • ARC function of TV
  • ARC & Audio extract can work simultaneously

RS-232

This product adopts hexadecimal RS-232 transparent transmission instructions, and use commands to control the transmitter or receiver.
The default configuration is as follows:
Baud rate: 115200
Date bits: 8, Stop bits: 1, Parity: None

Note:
If the RS-232 control instruction succeeds. it will return the control instruction code; If it fails, it will return the error code:
BAAS 02 0100 01 04 QC

Application

Note:

  • We recommend CAT6/6a with 100% copper wiring and IEEE-568B wiring standard.
  • We recommend HDMI cable do not over Sm
  • Dedicated IGMP Gigabit Ethernet switches are recommended for the best performance and reliability. When connecting to an existing LAN environment, it’s recommended to configure a VLAN dedicated to these transmitter and receiver to avoid traffic collision with other networking devices.

Q &A
Q: Why the status indicator is off?

  1. Please check whether all equipment is powered on and the network cable is connected properly.
  2. Try to change a network cable to connect.

Q: Why is the status indicator has been flashing slowly?

  1. Please check whether there is HDMI signal input for the TX.
  2. Try to connect the signal source directly to the display device, or try to change the signal source and HDMI cable and test again.

Q: Why it keeps showing “Search ipcolor Tx … ” on the screen?
The transmitter and the receiver are not connected or they are connected but there is no data transmis­sion. Please refer to the above two questions for the solution.

Q: Why is the output image unstable?

  1. Check whether the length of the network cable connected fromTX to RX is within 1 00meters.
  2. The length of HDMI cable is recommended to be 5 meters.
  3. Press the “reset” button on TX and RX panels to restart and reconnect.

Q: Why the HDMI ARC is not working?

  1. Please check whether the HDMI port connected to the receiver supports ARC function.
  2. Please make sure that the HDMI ARC of the TV is turned on.
  3. Press the ARC button on the receiver to enable ARC.
