Important safety instructions
- The consumer should only be connected to an earthing socket installed in accordance with regulations.
- The consumer is also intended for outdoor use, and therefore must be operated with an additional current protector with a rated tripping current not exceeding 30 mA.
- Make sure that the supply voltage corresponds to the voltage indicated on the nameplate.
- The power cord should be checked regularly for signs of damage.
- If such damage is detected, the consumer must not be used any further.
- In order to avoid danger and to meet safety requirements, repairs to this electrical appliance or its power cable must be carried out by our customer service. In case of repair, please contact our customer department by phone or e-mail (see attachment).
Warning : This symbol indicates that the grill grate and the heating element can become very hot during operation – there is a risk of burns.
- Before cleaning the grill, make sure it is unplugged and has cooled down completely.
- To avoid the risk of electric shock, the heating element with sensor and power cable and the thermometer in the core must not be immersed in or come into contact with liquid.
- Clean the grill grate, reflective plate and tray inserts with hot soapy water or in the dishwasher. Detailed information on cleaning the appliance can be found in the Cleaning and care section.
- The appliance is not designed to be controlled by an external timer or a separate remote control system.
- Warning! Do not under any circumstances use charcoal or other solid or liquid fuels to operate the grill.
- Warning : Do not cover the grill grate with aluminum foil, grill pans or other objects, as the resulting heat build-up could seriously damage the grill.
- A maximum of 2 liters of water can be poured into the reflector bowl.
- This appliance is intended for domestic or similar uses such as
- in staff kitchens, shops, offices and other similar work environments,
- in agricultural work environments,
- customers in hotels, motels, etc. and similar establishments
- This appliance can be used by children (over 8 years) and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they are supervised or instructed in the use of the appliance and fully understand all associated hazards and safety precautions.
- Children must not be allowed to play with the appliance.
- Children must not carry out any cleaning or maintenance of the appliance unless they are under supervision and are over 8 years old.
- The appliance and its power cable must be kept out of the reach of children under 8 at all times.
- Warning : Keep all packaging materials out of the reach of children – they are a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.
- Before using the appliance, the main body and all installed accessories should be thoroughly checked for defects. If, for example, the appliance falls on a hard surface, it must not be used any further: even invisible damage can have an adverse effect on the operational safety of the appliance.
- During operation, the grill must be placed on a flat, heat-resistant surface that is resistant to splashes and stains. When grilling food with a high fat or moisture content, it is not always possible to prevent splatter.
- Do not place the grill against a wall or corner and ensure that no flammable materials are stored near it.
- Remember that foods with a high fat or moisture content may tend to catch fire; therefore, always fill the reflector bowl with water before use. Do not connect the grill to the mains until the hot plate is filled with water. Water helps cool the baffle, reduces smoke build-up and also makes cleaning easier.
- Continuously monitor the water level. Water should be topped up in a timely manner, ensuring that it does not come into contact with the heating element.
Warning: Unplug the grill before adding water.
- Before using the grill, always check that the heating element is correctly fitted in the cover and the reflector plate.
- The grill must be supervised at all times during operation.
- Do not allow the power cord to touch hot parts of the appliance.
- Route the power cord so that no one can trip over it.
- Always remove the plug from the outlet
- before filling with water
- after use
- in case of any malfunction
- during cleaning
- The use of an extension cable or a winch causes a loss of energy, possibly associated with the subsequent heating of the cable. Therefore, the cable must be completely unfolded before use. Make sure the cable is approved for outdoor use and for the specified power (see nameplate).
- Do not move the grill trolley by pushing on the side table. First remove the side table and always grasp the frame.
- Do not use the barbecue trolley to transport any objects.
- Never move the grill while it is in use.
- Remove water after use.
- Attention! Always make sure the grill has cooled completely before moving, cleaning, covering or storing it
- Attention! Whenever the grill is not in use, the heating element with cable connection must be removed from the grill and stored in a dry place inside.
- Do not store other parts of the grill outside or in an open area where they could be affected by the weather.
- The grill can only be used with the supplied thermometer or the spare SEVERIN ZB 8126 thermometer.
- We assume no responsibility for damages caused by improper use or failure to follow these instructions.
- This product complies with all mandatory CE marking directives.
Before first use

- Assemble the appliance as described in Unit Preparation.
- Let the grill heat up for approximately 10 minutes at maximum power without food (see ‘Boost-zone’ grilling). This will eliminate the smell that usually occurs when the grill is first turned on. A little smoke may escape; for this reason, sufficient ventilation should be ensured by opening windows or balcony doors; a hood is also suitable.
Installation of the grill

- Place the reflector container in the grill cover.
- Note : Install the tray inserts so that each insert covers all corners.
- Place the heating element with the cable connection in the reflector container. The appliance is equipped with a safety switch. The unit can only be operated with a properly installed junction box.

Assembly of the barbecue trolley
- For grill models with a grill cart, assemble the cart as shown.
- A Phillips screwdriver is required for assembly.
- Before assembly, check that all parts are complete as shown in the picture above.
Construction:
- Place the frame of the barbecue cart upside down on the floor. · Insert the four support legs into the housing and secure each support leg with two large screws. Two support legs with additional wheel holes must be mounted together on the narrow side of the grill cart.
- Turn the frame with the support legs upright.
- Fit the plastic frame of the storage rack and secure it on all four support legs with the appropriate screws and nuts; then install the storage rack.
- Pass the wheel axles through the holes on the support legs and fit the wheels. Secure each wheel with one of the cotter pins and snap the wheel covers into place.
- Place the side tables on the corresponding metal pins.
- Make sure the grill cart is stable. Regularly check the tight connection of the screws.
- Place the assembled grill on top.
Attention:
- Nepřekračujte maximální zatížení 3 kg pro odkládací stolky a 20 kg pro odkládací přihrádku.
