INSTRUCTION MANUAL

READ THIS INSTRUCTION MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THE INSTALLATION.
Phonocar S.p.A. declines all responsibility for any damage resulting from improper installation or use of the product.

1. Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel.
2. Use only with 12V DC electrical system with negative ground.
3. Disconnect the negative terminal of the vehicle battery when making connections.
4. When replacing the fuse, use one with the same amperage value.
5. Do not open the units or attempt to repair them, consult your dealer or qualified technical personnel.
6. For safety reasons, the alarm system must be programmed with timed controlled window lift (max 25 sec.).
7. Do not leave the vehicle while the electric windows are closing, in order be able to act promptly to block them in the event of danger.
8. To avoid damaging the product, we recommend using it only at temperatures between -20/+80°C.
9. Do not connect any cables where they could obstruct the operation of the car’s safety devices.
10. Refer to the safety instructions of the vehicle on which the product is installed.
11. Keep out of the reach of children.

INFORMATION AND TECHNICAL DATA

This module enables automatic closing of the electric windows when disarming and/or arming alarm system of the vehicle:

• only for vehicles with central locking and with electric windows
• 2 or 4 windows – via the vehicle’s radio remote control and/or the one of the alarm system
• to stop the electric windows closing, the vehicle must be reopened or disarm the alarm.

TECHNICAL FEATURES:
12 VDC power supply.
Operating voltage: 9/16 VDC.
Stand-by consumption: 0.1 mA.
Operating temperature: – 40/+ 85° C.

CONNECTION DIAGRAMS

INSTALLATION WARNINGS

1. Before starting installation, disconnect the negative battery cable and only reconnect it after installation is complete.
2. It is recommended to insulate wires that have not been used.

CONNECTIONS
Check the car’s electric window system to choose the proper connection diagram:
– in case of negative polarity when the windows are in stand-by and the cable with positive polarity is interrupted during closing:
DIAGRAM A for 2 electric windows
DIAGRAM B for 4 electric windows
– in case of positive polarity when the windows are in stand-by and the cable is interrupted during closing:
DIAGRAM C for 2 electric windows
DIAGRAM D for 4 electric windows
Connect the RED cable to a plus terminal and make sure it provides sufficient power.
Connect the BLACK cable to ground.
Connect the YELLOW cable to the minus (-) output of the window control of the paired remote control/alarm.
Connect the ORANGE cable to the plus (+) output of the window control of the paired remote control/alarm.
Connect the BROWN cable to the plus OUT (+15) of the vehicle.
