AutoSort CONNECT KASC-VALVE valve Bank Kit
AutoSort Connect valve bank kit
The AutoSort Connect valve bank kit (model KASC-VALVE) is a complete replacement set of valve banks with wires, hoses, and mounting hardware for your AutoSort Connect scale head.
- Switch off the power to the AutoSort Connect before servicing the unit.
- Disconnect only the wires and hoses specified in the instructions.

Removing the old valve bank
- Switch off the power to the AutoSort Connect.
- Shut off the air supply to the valve bank.
- Remove the plug from the valve bank.
- Label and then remove the sorter control hoses (headgate, tailgate, and so on) from the valve bank.
- Loosen the four screws in the front cover and then swing it open.
- Label and then remove the air intake and exhaust hoses from the valve bank.
- Gently disconnect the valve wires from the connectors on the circuit board.
- Remove the six mounting screws fastening the valve bank to the enclosure.
- Remove the valve bank from the enclosure.
Installing the new valve bank
- Remove the new valve bank from the bag.
- Remove the six screws from the valve bank.
- Place the valve bank in position and then fasten it to the enclosure using the six mounting screws. Make sure the gaskets seal properly around the connectors.
- Reconnect the wires to the terminals. The wires connect in order from top to bottom, as shown in the diagram on the previous page.
- Reconnect the air intake and exhaust hoses to their connectors. Extra hose is provided with the kit in case you need to replace any of the air intake or exhaust hoses. When inserting the hoses into the connectors, make sure you press them in as far as they will go.
- Insert the plug into the bottom-right valve connector.
- Reconnect the sorter control hoses to their connectors. Make sure to press them in as far as they will go.
- Verify all the wires and hoses are properly connected to their correct locations.
- Switch on the air supply and power to the AutoSort Connect. Verify the control operates properly. If it does not operate properly, check the wiring and hose connections. If it still does not operate properly, contact your dealer.
- Close the cover and then tighten the four screws.
