Safety guidelines before riding
Required checking before riding for your own safety
-
Check throttle andAll screws on your handlebar.
- Test the accelerator throttle lever about 2-3 times to check whether it returns to the starting
- Excessive throttle manipulation can cause malfunction due to internal parts damage {e.g spring and magnet inside the throttle)
- Check all screws and tighten all of the screws before riding. Adjust the angle of the brake levers and switches to your comfortable
-
Check brakes and cables.
- Test the braking levers to check If the braking force is significantly lowered, do change the brake pads or bleed the brakes before using it. You may visit our authorized centers for technical support.
- Check that the brake pad is not worn out and that the brake cable is not loose or damaged, and if there is any leakage of the brake
- If there is an unusual feeling or noise during operation, check for breakage, wear and tear, or deformation of the inner cable wire of the brake
- Check that the bolts and nuts of the brake fixing parts are not loose and that the disc brake is not deformed or damaged
-
Check tire pressure and unia xia l co nditi o n .
- Check the front and rear tires for wear and tear or punctures.
- When the shortage of air is present, there is a possibility or higher chance of punctures occurring, so please do check always before ridding.
- It is necessary to judge the replacement time by observing the appearance of the tire such as tire damage and uneven wear
-
Tightening check for folding part – Make sure that the bolts and nuts of all the parts of the product are tight and free from loosening. Check the fastening condition and clearance of the folding and fixing parts of the handle {folding lever, hinge bolt, headset nut, swing arms, etc.)
Maintenance
Maintenance and self-maintenance
Electric products can be damaged by various factors. The life span of each
part varies depending on your personal riding habits and riding environment.
Parts that exceed the service life may cause accidents.
- Check the replacement timing of consumable parts
-
* The components such as tires, tubes, bearings, headset bearing s, discs, brake pads, brake fluids, cables, folding parts, various brackets, and other consumable parts require periodic inspection. Always check on the consumable compo nets before riding so as to ensure you’re safe to go for your ride!
- External damages caused by riding habits or riding environment
-
* Replace parts that may be damaged by the external riding environment, such as deformation of parts and cracks due to
- If the product is exposed to strong sunlight for a long time, discoloration may
- In case of heavy ridings such as normal jumps, slight impacts such as turning and collision, etc, when driving frequently or for a long time in a poor road condition or for driving for more than 1000 kilometers or more, please check and replace the damaged components for product safety.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Metal vibration may occur due to motor vibration, the vibration of the brake disc, and the pad during the acceleration period. This is a normal phenomenon in which all revolutions (fans, automobiles, ships, etc.) will emit a vibration sound at a specific rotational frequency (rpm). However, if there is continuous noise and it is getting louder, there could be a p possible ility that the disc is bent and deformed.
- Please note that after running, there is a risk of burns due to the heat on the motor and brake (especially on the disc rotor).
- Be careful that the bolts on the motor, rim, and rotors may loosen over time due to the vibration.
Maintenance by self-maintenance
Brake adjustment method
If you get a sharp hissing sound when you ride, it may be caused by the
brake pads being misaligned or it could be due to dust or sand particles stuck
on the brake pads. It could also be due to the disc brake being bent due to
heat or external impact. If you face this issue, clean the inner surface of
the disc by turning the wheels with a clean, dry cloth or straightening the
bent discs using a plier. You can also adjust the alignment of the brake pads
by using the MS hexagon all en key, by loosening or tightening the 2 screws
holding the brakes in place.
If the above measures have been taken but there is still a hissing sound,
please visit the nearest branch and get technical help.
