Thank you for choosing Focal loudspeakers. We are pleased to share with you our philosophy: “the Spirit of Sound”. These high-performance speakers feature the latest technical developments from Focal in terms of speaker design, whether 1t is for high fidelity or home theater systems. In order to enjoy the maximum of their performance, we advise you to read this user’s manual and to keep it carefully so that you can consult it later.

Fixing to a wall or ceiling

Before fixing to a wall, make sure there are no electric cables or pipes within the wall.

Use the Allen key supplied under the Sib -T base to unscrew the bracket and separate it from the speaker.
Sib -T wiring: see “wiring” chapter on page 6.
Route the speaker cable as indicated. Leave 10 cm for wiring the Sib-T.
Place the bracket against the wall and mark the holes to be drilled for the three fixing screws supplied.
Use a 6 mm 0 drill to drill the holes.
Use the three wall plugs supplied. Fix the bracket with the three screws.
Unscrew the two clamps with the Allen key.

Connections

Respect the poles by connecting the red terminal marked “+” on the amp to the red or “+” on the corresponding speaker.
Then repeat the process for the black terminals marked .. ..

Cable diameter to be used according to the power and the distance on 100 volts mode.

This speaker is equipped with a high impedance transformer [1 00V).
The switch enables the mode to be selected: either low impedance [40]. or high impedance [1 00V – 30W, 15W, 7.5W).

Use in low impedance mode (40 Ω )

Warning! Before turning the system on, make sure that your amplifier is on 40 mode.
Use in high impedance mode (100 VI

Warning! Before turning the system on, make sure that your amplifier is on 100 V mode.

The electrical connections on “100 V” mode must only to be made in parallel

All Focal loudspeakers are covered by guarantee drawn up by the official Focal distributor in your country.
Your distributor can provide all details concerning the conditions of guarantee. Guarantee cover extends at least to that granted by the legal guarantee in force in the country where the original purchase invoice was issued.

Your Focal-JMlab product was developed and manufactured with high-quality materials and components which can be recycled and/or re-used. This symbol indicates that electrical and electronic equipment must be disposed of separately from normal garbage at the end of its operational lifetime.Please dispose of this product by bringing it to your local collection point or recycling centre for such equipment.
