Functions

[Driving Style Analysis]
a. Analyzes driving records through Infocar algorithm.
b. Check your safe/economical driving scores and rankings.
c. Check your driving style based on statistical graph and driving records.

[Abnormal Driving Detection]
a. Detects the fault codes caused by problems of vehicle’s sensors or system in real-time.
b. Diagnoses risk factors in driving situation instantly based on your driving style.
c. Check data on vehicle performance such as cooling water or engine temperature, and prevent any vehicle malfunctions.

[Driving Records Management]
a. Check when and where warning occurred for speed, rapid acceleration, rapid deceleration and rapid turn with exam.
b. Check driving records such as speed, RPM and accelerator by time/location with replay driving function.
c. Download driving log in Excel format for detailed driving records.

How to Install

INSTALLATION

When the car is turned off, attach the terminal to OBD socket shown above, and start the car (red LED light is up when installed normally). Fuse box and terminal box should be removed from the cover. If the OBD socket is located on a pedal or other location that you cannot see, please use a flash for installation. Location of OBD socket may vary depending on vehicle’s manufacturer and model.

  1. Inside the fuse box, the lower left of the driver’s seat
  2. Under the driver’s seat
  3. Audio, socket box under the ashtray (Renault Samsung, Peugeot)
  4. Center console or console box

Connection

Bluetooth Setting

APP VIEW

Click “Connect” on the top right corner and move to Bluetooth connecting.

Android]
Check Bluetooth or Bluetooth LE 4.0 as a connection type and click Infocar180 in the Bluetooth list below. Type “1234” if a PIN number is required.

[iOS]
Check Bluetooth LE 4.0 as a connection type and click Infocar180 in the Bluetooth list below. You have to connect through Bluetooth not from the smartphone setting, but from Infocar application.

[AutoRun – Android]

  1. Check if you have allowed Infocar to access location.
  2. When the engine turns on, Infocar application would be automatically turned on and driving records would be saved.
  3. If you can’t autorun Infocar, check if the smartphone and vehicle Bluetooth is well connected.
  4. Autorun can be delayed depending on smartphone model.

[Connection Failure and How to Solve]

  1. Enable smartphone’s Bluetooth
  2. Deactivate the battery usage optimization.
  3. If the problem repeats after you change the setting, reinstall the application and try again.

If the problem persists, please click “Settings→Ask to Developers” in Infocar app. Then we will pleasely help you.
