Product Usage Instructions

How to Install:

  1. Locate the center console or console box in your Renault Samsung or Peugeot vehicle.
  2. Download the ‘Infocar’ application from the Google Play Store or App Store.

Connection: Bluetooth Setting:

  1. Open the ‘Infocar’ application.
  2. Click on “Connect” at the top right corner to go to the Bluetooth connecting page.
  3. For Android devices:
    • Check “Bluetooth” or “Bluetooth LE 4.0” as the connection type.
    • Select “Infocar180” from the Bluetooth list below.
    • If prompted for a PIN, enter “1234”.
  4. For iOS devices:
    • Check “Bluetooth LE 4.0” as the connection type.
    • Select “Infocar180” from the Bluetooth list below.
    • Ensure you connect through Bluetooth within the Infocar application, not from the smartphone settings.
  5. The connection may take some time depending on your smartphone’s operating system or model.

Automatic Running and Troubleshooting:

  1. When the engine turns on, the Infocar application should automatically launch, and driving records will be saved.
  2. If the application does not autorun, check if the smartphone and vehicle Bluetooth are properly connected.
  3. Autorun may be delayed depending on the smartphone model.

Connection Failure and Troubleshooting:

  1. Make sure your smartphone’s Bluetooth is enabled.
  2. Deactivate battery usage optimization for the application.
  3. If the problem persists after changing the settings, try reinstalling the application and attempting again.
  4. If the issue continues, click on “Settings” in the Infocar app and select “Ask Developers” for further assistance.

How to Install

When the car is turned off, attach the terminal to the OBD socket shown above, and start the car (the red LED light is up when installed normally). The fuse box and the terminal box should be removed from the cover. If the OBD socket is located on a pedal or other location that you cannot see, please use a flash for installation. The location of the OBD socket may vary depending on the vehicle’s manufacturer and model. Use a PS2 or less than 100 W power

Connection

Bluetooth Setting

  • Click “Connect” on the top right corner and move to the Bluetooth connecting page.INFOCAR-IO180-SH-Smart-Scanner-fig- \(5\)

  • [Android]
    Check Bluetooth or Bluetooth LE 4.0 as a connection type and click Infocar180 in the Bluetooth list below. Type “1234” if a PIN is required.

  • [iOS]
    Check Bluetooth LE 4.0 as a connection type and click Infocar180 in the Bluetooth list below. You have to connect through Bluetooth not from the smartphone setting, but from the Infocar application.

Connection may take time depending on the smartphone OS or model.

[AutoRun – Android]

  1. Check if you have allowed Infocar to access the location.
  2. When the engine turns on, the Infocar application is automatically turned on and driving records are saved.
  3. If you can’t autorun Infocar, check if the smartphone and vehicle Bluetooth are well connected.
  4. Autorun can be delayed depending on the smartphone model.

[Connection Failure and How to Solve]

  1. Enable smartphone’s Bluetooth
  2. Deactivate the battery usage optimization.
  3. If the problem repeats after you change the setting, reinstall the application and try again.
