SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- By ignoring the safety instructions the manufacturer can not be hold responsible for the damage.
- Do not use this appliance with a damaged cord or plug or when the appliance has malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. To avoid a hazard make sure that a damaged cord or plug will be replaced by an Competent qualified repair service(*). Do not repair this appliance yourself.
- Never move the appliance by pulling the cord and make sure the cord can not become entangled.
- The appliance must be placed on a stable, level surface.
- The user must not leave the device unattended while it is connected to the supply.
- This appliance is only to be used for household purposes and only for the purpose it is made for.
- To protect children against the dangers of electrical appliances, please make sure that you never leave the appliance unattended. Therefore you have to select a storage place for the appliance where children are not able to grab it. Make sure that the cable is not hanging in a downward position.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- The appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
- To protect yourself against an electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or appliance in the water or any other liquid.
- This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating.
- Caution! Bread can burn.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
- Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
- Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10 cm. free space around the device. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outside use.
- Put the power cable into the socket. (Note: Make sure the voltage which is indicated on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the de vice. Voltage 220V-240V 50/60Hz)
- When the device is turned on for the first time, a slight odor will occur. This is normal, ensure adequate ventilation. This fragrance is only temporary and will disappear soon.
USE
- Put bread slice in the bread groove. You can place 2 slices in the device. Make sure the crumb tray is completely positioned in place before using.
- Plug the power cord into the ground earthed outlet. Turn the color controller to your desired position. Position 1 is just crisp, position 6 is dark. The centre positions is golden brown. Press the carriage handle completely down and toast will begin.
- Once the bread has been toasted to your selected color, the carriage handle will automatically jump up.
- During toasting, you can check the color of the bread. If it is satisfying, you press the cancel button to cancel the operation at any time.
- If the bread from the refrigerator perform the same operations, press the defrost button. The indicator will be illuminated. In this mode the bread will be toasted to your desired color.
- If you want to reheat the cold toasted bread, press the reheat button and the indicator of it will be illuminated. In this mode toasting time is fixed, so long as time is running over.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for the appliance to cool down.
- Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.
- Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid. The device in not dishwasher proof.
- Pull out the crumb tray and remove the crumbs. By using the device frequently, repeat this every week.
- Do not use a metal object (fork, knife …. ) to clean the inside of the appliance as this may damage the heating elements.

- This product is guaranteed for 24 months granted. Your warranty is valid if the product is used in accordance to the instructions and for the purpose for which it was created. In addition, the original purchase (invoice, sales slip or receipt) is to be submitted with the date of purchase, the name of the retailer and the item number of the product.
