SAFETY INFORMATION

1. Please read these instructions carefully.
2. Keep all information and instructions in a safe place.
3. Follow the instructions.
4. Observe all safety warnings. Never remove safety warnings or other information from the equipment.
5. Use the equipment only in the intended manner and for the intended purpose.
6. During installation, observe the applicable safety regulations for your country.
7. Never place sources of ignition, e.g., burning candles, on the equipment.
8. Do not use this equipment in the immediate vicinity of water (does not apply to special outdoor equipment – in this case, observe the special instructions noted below. Do not expose this equipment to flammable materials, fluids or gases.
9. Make certain that dripping or splashed water cannot enter the equipment. Do not place containers filled with liquids, such as vases or drinking vessels, on the equipment.
10. Make certain that objects cannot fall into the device.
11. Use this equipment only with the accessories recommended and intended by the manufacturer.
12. Do not open or modify this equipment.
13. After connecting the equipment, check all cables in order to prevent damage or accidents, e.g., due to tripping hazards.
14. During transport, make certain that the equipment cannot fall down and possibly cause property damage and personal injuries.
15.  If your equipment is no longer functioning properly, if fluids or objects have gotten inside the equipment or if it has been damaged in another way, switch it off immediately and unplug it from the mains outlet (if it is a powered device). This equipment may only be repaired by authorized, qualified personnel.
16. Clean the equipment using a dry cloth.
17. Comply with all applicable disposal laws in your country. During disposal of packaging, please separate plastic and paper/cardboard.
18. Plastic bags must be kept out of reach of children

CAUTION – HIGH VOLUME LEVELS WITH AUDIO PRODUCTS!

This equipment is intended for professional use. Therefore, commercial use of this equipment is subject to the respectively applicable national accident prevention rules and regulations. As a manufacturer, Adam Hall is obligated to notify you formally about the existence of potential health risks. Hearing damage due to high volume and prolonged exposure: When in use, this product is capable of producing high sound-pressure levels (SPL) that can lead to irreversible hearing damage in performers, employees, and audience members. For this reason, avoid prolonged exposure to volumes in excess of 90 dB.

To prevent possible hearing damage, avoid listening at high volume levels over long periods of time. Even exposure to short bursts of loud noise can result in hearing loss. Please keep the volume constantly at a comfortable level.

BATTERY SAFETY

1. Keep conductive objects such as keys, jewellery or other materials away from the battery terminals. Failure to do so may result in the battery being short-circuited, which could lead to injury or burns.
2. Never reverse the polarity of the battery contacts.
3. Keep the battery away from excessive heat and direct sunlight. Do not place it on or in heating applianc- es, such as a microwave ovens or radiators. Batteries can explode if overheated.
4. Do not attempt to alter or modify the battery, to insert foreign materials into the battery or to immerse it in or bring it into contact with water or any other liquid. Failure to do so could lead to a fire, explosion or other dangerous situations.
5. In the event of leakage of battery acid, ensure that it does not come into contact with skin or eyes. If this occurs, rinse immediately with clean water and consult a doctor.
6. In the event of the battery becoming deformed, overheating or changing colour during charging or storage, refrain from using the device immediately and remove the battery. Further use of the device could lead to leakage of battery acid or may cause a fire or an explosion.
7. Do not put batteries into a fire because they may explode. Damaged batteries may also explode.
8. Dispose of used batteries in accordance with local regulations. Improper use of the battery can cause a fire, an explosion or other dangerous situations.
9. Do not allow children or pets to chew or suck on the battery. This could lead to damage or an explosion.
10. Do not strike, puncture or place the battery under high pressure. Otherwise this could lead to a short circuit or overheating.
11. Do not drop the device or battery. If the device or battery is dropped, especially onto a hard surface, either or both could be damaged.
12. If the standby time of the device is significantly reduced, replace the battery.
13. If the device has a built-in, non-removable battery, do not attempt to remove the battery, because this could cause damage to the device. Take the device to an authorised service centre for replacement of the battery.

IMPORTANT: Charge the MAUI5 GO 100 battery only with the dedicated charging system (charging system in MAUI5 GO 100 Subwoofer, charging dock LDMAUI5GOCD)

DESCRIPTION

The LDMAUI5GO100BC(W) column section with built-in battery can be used as a substitute for column sections with a spent battery, as well as to extend the playing time of the MAUI5 GO 100 speaker system during battery operation.

CONNECTIONS, DISPLAY ELEMENTS AND OPERATION

1. Multipin connectors to connect the MAUI5 GO 100 column section with integrated battery to the MAUI5 GO 100 subwoofer, or the MAUI5 GO CD charging dock.
2. Multipin connectors to connect the MAUI5 GO 100 spacer or MAUI5 GO 100 column section to the speakers.
3. BATTERY CHECK: Button for display of battery status by the status LEDs.
4. BATTERY STATUS LEDs: 4-segment LED battery status display. Press button no. 3 for display of battery status by the status LEDs. If all 4 LEDs light up, the battery is fully charged. If only the red LOW LED is lit, charge the battery immediately, or exchange it for a fully charged battery.
5. CHARGE: The battery in the column section MAUI5 GO 100 BC is charged and the batch-LED lights up as soon as the speaker system is properly connected to the mains, or the MAUI5 GO 100 BC is connected to the charging dock (charging dock is optional).

To charge, insert the column section with the built-in rechargeable battery into the MAUI5 GO 100 subwoofer, or the optional charging dock MAUI5 GO CD. The intelligent design of the columns and subwoofer, or docking connector prevents incorrect operation.
