Safety instructions
You must always wear a helmet and protective equipment when driving!
Driving in public traffic and busy residential areas should be avoided.
Please keep in mind that driving in public traffic involves some safety risks.
Read the instructions in the user manual carefully and follow them to protect
yourself as well as others. You should be aware that when driving on public
roads or other public areas, you may face the risk of traffic violations or
unauthorized operation by other persons or vehicles.
The e-scooter is built for one rider only. Riding with children or more than
one person at a time is not allowed. You are not supposed to ride on stairs or
escalators.
When approaching a bump, elevator sill, or pothole, do not go faster than 3-10
mph or even stop. Please note that the braking distance is also longer when
driving an E-Scooter at higher speeds. Full braking on a slippery surface can
cause the wheel to start slipping, you lose your balance and may even fall.
Therefore, you should be alert while driving, maintain the proper speed and an
appropriate safe distance from other people/vehicles.
Please respect the right of way when driving.
Avoid scaring pedestrians and especially children.
When riding in countries and areas without local national standard and rules
related to scooters, you must strictly follow the safety requirements. We do
not assume any responsibility for property damage, personal injury, accidents,
litigation or other undesirable events caused by disregarding the user manual.
We do not assume any direct responsibility and joint liability.
To avoid damage, do not lend the device to people who do not know how to use
it. When you lend the e-scooter, always educate about the product and also
point out that it is necessary to wear a helmet as well as protective
equipment when riding.
Never charge the e-scooter battery unattended.
Range data, as well as data on maximum speeds and the climbing capacity are
strongly dependent on parameters such as the charge status of the battery, the
condition of the surface, inclines or declines during the ride, the weight of
the rider, physical effort by diving or if available, use of the pedals,
weather conditions, headwind and other factors.
Our specifications refer to the optimum case.
Please always check the e-scooter for function and damage such as loose
screws, etc. before riding it. Please do not continue driving if you notice
any defects or malfunctions.
Contact our customer service for professional advice on product maintenance
and service!
Always check…
…whether all parts of the e-scooter are installed correctly and have no
damage,
….whether the brake is in order and works,
…if the battery is sufficiently charged,
…if the tires are in a good condition,
…whether the handlebars are tight.
…whether all screws & levers are tight or locked.
Please don‘t…
…drive on wet or soft ground -> not more than 2cm water!
…drive in during bad weather, snow or drive on icy roads!
- Read those operating instructions carefully before driving!
- This is not a toy -> children under 16 should not ride the e-scooter!
- If you are physically unfit/ill or under the influence of medication or alcohol, you should not ride the e-scooter! Also not if you are mentally impaired or pregnant.
- Incorrect assembly of the e-scooter can lead to loss of control, collisions or falls. Use the appropriate tools when assembling. Screwing too tightly or too easily can lead to damage and malfunctions.
- Never modify or repair the e-scooter yourself or by unauthorized third parties.
- The tires are pneumatic. Incorrect air pressure can lead to instability, damage or even traffic accidents. You should measure the tire pressure before each ride.
- Before charging the e-scooter, check if the socket is dry, clean and free from malfunctions or objects. Keep children and animals away when charging. Make sure that there are no flammable substances nearby.
- You must never disassemble the battery, perform irrational operations with it, or use it in an irrational manner.
- Do not wear inappropriate footwear such as high heels or clothing that is too loose or inappropriate while riding. Always wear appropriate protective gear.
- When you ride the e-scooter, you should wear protective glasses to keep dirt, dust or insects away from your eyes.
- Do not attempt any fast turning maneuvers or tight turns at high speed or on wet surfaces. You could lose control.
- Do not attempt to be pulled by other vehicles with the e-scooter. Avoid stunts and extreme sports actions.
- The e-scooter is a personal travel device made for short distances. It should not be used for.
Daily maintenance
Storage and cleaning
If stains appear on the surface of the e-scooter, wipe them off with a soft
and damp cloth. For stubborn stains, you can first wipe the e-scooter with a
soft cloth. Then with a damp cloth. You must never spray the E-Scooter
vigorously or with a high-pressure cleaner!
Do not clean the E-Scooter with alcohol, gasoline, kerosene or other corrosive
and volatile chemical solvents, otherwise the appearance and internal
structure of the vehicle will be severely damaged.
Never leave the e-scooter switched on during cleaning. Unplug the charging
cable and plug the charging rubber cover. Otherwise, you could get an electric
shock or serious problems could occur due to water spilling over.
Store your e-scooter in a dry and shady place when you are not using it. Do
not place the escooter outdoors for long periods of time. Outdoor sunlight,
overheating or
hypothermia will accelerate the aging of the appearance and wheels or even
reduce the battery life.
Battery maintenance
Please do not leave batteries in an environment above 50°C or below -20°C.
Do not place the E-Scooter in the heat, otherwise there is a risk that the
batteries will discharge, overheat or even start to burn.
In addition, the batteries may have longer life and performance at normal
temperatures.
When used at below 0°C, battery life and performance will be reduced. Battery
life may not increase at below 20°C until the temperature is increased.
Please also read the nameplate of the batteries under the vehicle to know the
other maintenance instructions of the batteries.
Avoid charging when the batteries are completely discharged.
Instead, try to charge the batteries early and often.
With fully charged batteries, the stored energy is exhausted after 30 days in
stand-by mode.
The stored energy is depleted after 14 days in stand-by mode if the battery
was not fully charged.
If you do not charge the e-scooter in time, this may cause damage to the
batteries.
This damage cannot be repaired.
The damage caused by long time not charging can not be repaired free of
charge.
Note: Non-expert persons are prohibited from disassembling the battery.
This may cause serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
Do not store the e-scooter with empty batteries! Before storing it, you should
at least partially charge it and also recharge it regularly (e.g.: 1x per
week) to avoid storage damage.
