Power Supply

Connect the power socket and the USB port of the camera with the power cords. When the indicator light of the camera is on, it means that the power is connected.Power Supply

Indicator
  1. Steady Red Light: the camera is connected to the power supply but is not connected to the mobile apps.
  2. Flashing Red: the camera is in the mode of code-scanning. 3.Steady Green Light: the camera is connected successfully and the connection to the network is normal. 4.Flashing quickly in green: the camera is connecting to the network. 5.Flashing quickly in red and green: the device upgrade is in progress.

Keys

SET key: Press the SET key and a prompt tone is heard, indicating the device is ready to scan a code.

This product can be used with KAWA IOT APR Please search “KAWA 10T” in App Store or scan the QR code below to download and install the app.

Tips: An Android 5.0/i0S 8.0 or above is required in order to connect the smart webcam Wi Fi (2.4GHz) with your mobile phone.

Steps of network configuration for the camera:

  1. Click the Add Device button on the home page of KAWA APP to add a device;
  2. Select Device and choose the smart camera (WiFi version);
  3. Reset the camera: please power on the camera first, and then press the “SET” key behind the camera for 5 seconds. And you’ll hear a prompt tone or see the red light flashing;
  4. Input WiFi information and the password of a 2.4GHz network;
  5. Scan the QR code until the prompt Code Scanning Succeeded is heard;
  6. Wait for the device to connect to the network until you hear Network Configuration Succeeded;
  7. After a successful configuration , you will hear a prompt Equipment Connected. Click Finish to automatically enter the device control interface.

Installation Instruction

  1. Before installation, please confirm that the camera has been added on the app.
  2. Select a position with a wide viewing angle and place the camera directly.
  3. Installation on the Wall (optional) 1) Tear off the positioning paper and stick it to the selected location. 2) For a wooden wall, drive a screw directly into the area covered by the paper 0 ; for a concrete wall, drill a hole on the area and insert a bolt before tightening the screw into the wall. 3) Align the guide rail at the bottom of the camera with the screw and push the camera horizontally to lock it onto the wall.

Note: Please adjust the height and depth while tightening the screws to ensure that the camera is installed correctly.

Q&A

Q: why can’t the camera connect to the Wi-Fi network?
A:

  • Check whether the camera is configurated with the network
  • Check whether the WiFi is 2.4G Wi-Fi of the 802.11b/g/n protocol (5G Wi-Fi is not applicable).
  • Check whether the WiFi information and the password are correct.
  • Whether a prompt is heard when scanning the QR code.
  • Check whether the camera and your mobile phone are close to the router. Please ensure that the Wi-Fi signal of the wireless router connected to the camera is within the coverage.

Q: How to check if the camera is abnormally offline?
A:

  • Check whether the power supply and network are normal;
  • Unplug the power supply and plug again to restart the equipment;
  • Reconfigure the camera; -Check whether the network broadband is above 4Mbps.

Q: How to save videos?
A: The camera supports two storage modes, local storage and cloud storage (to be paid individually).

  • Local storage: save the video recorded by the camera to the micro SD card.
  • Cloud storage: Videos recorded by cameras can be stored in the cloud.
    The videos of recent 7 days or 30 days can be saved based on the video storage duration. You can view and download historical videos online.
